Description
Learn the functionality of the LFO MultiPhase
LFO MultiPhase is an excellent LFO. The unique characteristic of this module is that is lets you output waveforms with a variety of phasing configurations. It gives you a great deal of control of the phase of your LFO waveform.
Learn how to alter the waveform
LFO MultiPhase gives us four standard waveforms. It allows us to select each waveform specifically or morph between each wave. It also give us Pulse Width for our square wave. Very nice options for this LFO.
Learn the difference between unipolar and bipolar
LFO MultiPhase lets us choose between unipolar and bipolar waves. A unipolar waveform has all its waveform above the center line or all positive values. A bipolar wave has both positive and negative values.
Learn various ways to alter the frequency
We are provided with several ways to alter the frequencies of the LFO. In the tutorial I show each and how they can be used.
Learn what is meant by phase shifting
Shifting the phase of a wave refers to having the wave start its cycle at a different point in time.
Learn how to alter the phase in several ways
We are provided with several phase options on LFO MultiPhase. This also includes a Free Phase mode which can be controlled by CV. The video shows how these function using a scope.
VCV Rack is an open source application, which means that it is free for everyone to use. Please consider going to the developers' website and show your support for the project - http://www.vcvrack.com
