Translating Gitlab | English-Dutch #8

Project details

GitLab is a single application for the entire DevOps lifecycle that allows teams to work together better and bring more value to their customers, faster. GitLab does this by shortening the devops cycle time, bridging silos and stages, and taking work out of their hands. It also means a united workflow that reduces friction from traditionally separate activities like application security testing.

I translated more than 1000 words in my eighth contribution to the Gitlab project. No real issues (although the word 'issue' shows up from time to time ;-)) were encountered during this translation session. Since there's no real 'story' here, just single strings to translate, my posts remain a bit underwhelming. This will probably not change and there are many more posts to come. I estimate about 8 more sessions will be needed before I have this project finished.

Hi @altrosa!

Thanks for another contribution to the GitLab opensource project for DaVinci and Utopian.

The translations remain consistent with the previous ones, and this is hard, because it is completely mixed up with other work that has been done before.

We'll finish what we started, but I will sigh a sigh of relief after we finish this, I am sure you will too.
I understand completely that your posts remain the same, there is really not a lot to write about this project.
Nevertheless, you are doing a great job with the translations, and it's near perfect!

Well done!

I remember when we started you said 'this (loose strings) is easier for me!' - but I guess you changed your mind in the process :')

It's always satisfying to finish a project, but this one a bit extra, that's for sure! :D Thanks for remaining patient with proofreading this project! Cheers!

Oh, I absolutely changed my mind there...These short, loose strings are 'doing me head in' as the people here would say. It's more because there can be one, and then another one 20 strings later...ugh. Yeah, I'll be happy when this is done. I am secretly hoping those 'others' work a bit harder LOL.

Thank you for your review, @misslasvegas! Keep up the good work!
