Today was/is one of the tough days I have had in awhile. Thank goodness that most of my commitments are caught up. My posting has suffered in the last day or two.
Yesterday after calling the VA to see my doctor. What a goat fk that is. they kept trying to give me the first apt avaiable for my primariry care doctor. I all ready have one of them on the 21st which confused the hell out of them. Then they insisted if I needed care to go to the ER. Finely I ended the conversation and call ed my speicialty care doctor directly. I have his extention and they generaly don't give that out. Anyway I was seen first thing this morning.
After giving 9 viles of blood and a CAT scan. And a follow up anointment. Of course more pills and a treatment of steroids. If you want to know how I feel well I don't feel anything. The morphin is starting to ware off And I just took some pretty potaint pain killers. So a little stoned. My wife keeps trying to put me to bed. and I get telling her I have a headache can we do it tomorrow. I will give in here in a minute. No choice things getting to foggy.
The reason for this freewrite is I have something to say. If you every listen to me before this is the best thing I can tell you. Not suggest but tell.
You do not want government healthcare under any circumstance. Do not give up your personnel responsibility on care. Make your own decisions. Government health care is worse then not having any healthcare. It sounds really good when spun.
Well I am about done. I do have a lot more to say but can't go on. I will read this tomorrow and might delete it because I have no idea what I am puttin done here. maybe just edit it.
Haha, did you write this while being stoned on Morphine? lol... That explains the spelling, I have been morph high more than once, I ran up a $1200 phone bill once while in hospital, I was also on steroids so wake for 13 days straight etc... Lucky when I called them (the phone company) to tell them what had happened, they reduced the debt and I could pay it off as I wasn't working either.

They stuck a morphin bag IV. It started to ware off so I took some oxy and flew. LOL
I know you been through those days. have to laugh when it ends other wise you would go nuts.
If I sleep 1-2 hrs I am lucky. So I am up and down all night long.

Yea a lot better. it did not get as bad as it could have. When I went to the ER my doctor showed up and took over. Made a big difference. Got the inflammation under control real quick. Still have 2 days left on the steroids.
@wolfhart I hate going on and coming off steriods.
I hate everything about it all. I take one day at a time and deal with the issues and move on
It's all anyone can expect from themselves, baby steps. Good luck with doctors this week.

Government Health care all over the world sucks. Their motto is:

Yea but with privet you can always change doctors and spreed your blood around :)
Blessings on the doctor who gave you their extension! My doctor did that for me after a long game of whack-a-mole trying to get through to him.
You are absolutely right about avoiding government health care. Lack of accountability = lack of responsibility = FU.
Yea that helps having the ext. My doctors have practices down town and are part time with VA, contracted. So they are not like the ones who work for VA.
People hear FREE healthcare, school and loose their minds. Nothing is free, someone has to pay for it.

Governments all over the World are intentionally destroying the National Health Systems, so that the People don't have any other option than going to the Private Sector.
If Governments were ruling for the People, instead of ruling for the interests of Private Corporations, this would have never happen.
And unfortunately, Governments are doing the same to the Transportation Systems, Electric Infrastructures, Roads and Highways, Education...
Once their plan is complete, we'll end up paying the same taxes in return for nothing.
At that point, we'll be paying taxes for one thing only: to ensure the Government has a way to collect your taxes. All the other Public Services will disappear.
Thats why people need to get involved in their governments and vote.
Given the circumstances, I will spare you my stupid ex-English teacher "corrections" bullshit.

Cautionary Note:
Just remember that morphine is ~ 6X stronger than opium, heroin (acetylized morphine) is ~5 X stronger than morphine, and OXY+ pills are more potent than all the rest!
Ironically, morphine was invented to combat opium addiction, heroin for morphine addiction, and Oxycontin for heroin addiction!

Between the side effects and possibility of addiction they scare the hell out of me. I have enough problems without adding to it.
I have been seeing a pain mgt doc for the past 5 years. What a god-sent. It also why I get the good stuff. Otherwise policy dictates Tylenol until heart attack accrues. LOL

howdy there @wolfhart! yes sir from everything I've heard including your stories, government healthcare sucks. But I think you'll be surprised at how well you can write when you're stoned out of your mind! maybe you've had practice.
I have practice with pain killers. that's why I don't take them except when really needed. and under a pain doctor management also
They have that consignee doctors in Wichita where you only pay $70 a month for unlimited care. do you have that there

My wife found one on the internet. She search in wichita. that was a couple years ago. best thing she ever did in getting a doctor and used them for a couple years.
She is not here right now and I will ask her about it when she returns.

I only got it for my wife. when obama care happened between the deductible and monthly cost we could not afford it. So thats what we replaced it with plus major medical. the two combined were under $200.
If I had to I would call them they should know someone close to you to contact.
