Let me share to you a one great lesson I just recently learned. Actually I didn't realized I was at fault. You see, I am but a minnow here constantly adrift and floating in this big ocean of Steemit. Oh correction, I am but Plankton to be exact, I have not yet reached the Level of Minnow. I think you need to reach a certain points of SP before you become a Minnow.

I had became active in the last two months, all I do is post things about my peronal life and my everyday inspiration. Of course, a little upvotes and comments to all posts that I find interesting. To be honest, I actually went to unli-upvoting, if there is such a word for that. Lol...At that time, I did not know that there is a limit to voting per se. In my head, you can upvote anyone and at anytime you want.

So what happens, when you vote too much?

When your Voting Power runs super low, there will be a reminder or a prompt of caution that you DEPLETED your voting power and that you need to REGENERATE. This means that you cannot upvote until you recharge back your voting power UP. And when your VP is low, you have ZERO voting value.

My friends, that happened to me! Look at the picture below, it says that it will take 3 days to fully recharge back at 100% and I have 0.00$ worth of vote value even at 39%. Hahaha I became so addicted on reading posts, commenting and upvoting them all at the same time. No one told me that too much voting is not good like too much love will you! I only stopped when I got reprimanded..hahaha.. I hate to comment without leaving an upvote love. Only then, I realized I wasn't leaving any love at all. Why?? The more you vote the lesser is the value of your votes become. It decreases its value over time and the number of upvotedls made. A friend of mine once said, "there are no rules againts upvoting too much, it only shows how passionate you are with the community.."

Base on my research, our minimum voting power is only limited to 20x upvotes per day. For us newbies, our VP value starts at 0.001$ only. It is pretty small to effect a good post, but any amount no matter how minimal it maybe is still worth every penny, right? So, when you vote beyond the limits without waiting to regenerate, your vote is worth nothing. Again NOTHING. You are not leaving any upvote love.

With this, I apologize if I dont have any UPVOTE LOVE to share at the moment. Allow me to recharge for 3 days to get back at 100% power. Please don't be sad or blue, but I will leave constant thoughts to let you know I walked pass your way. 😉... we are still friends.. lol..

Lesson learned!

• Do not vote too much, remember your limits
• Use a voting slider if you want to spread more upvote loves by reducing VP percentage instead of 100% default

Any additional inputs from other Steemians are well appreciated and considered whole-heartedly. This is to help out all newbies out there who has too many questions in mind but too shy to ask or don't know where to go.

I will not be afraid to commit mistakes or to face failures, there is no such thing as a Perfect Steemian. Our mistakes and failures will help us grow to be better and excel at our own fields. I know I have my angel mentors constantly lurking at the corner silently watching over me..
