Dear #uloggers and #steemit friends! Hello! How was your day?

This is how my day went...

My daughter dressed up as an office worker for their closing program in school.

Yesterday, we attended my eldest daughter Juliana's Closing Program (Fine Scuola) in their school. It is just a simple musical celebration. There is an orchestra who played the music for the entire program. They are students too who belongs to the middle school.

Unlike the closing and recognition program in the Philippines where medals and ribbons are given to each deserving students, here is far different. There are no medals or ribbons for the pupils. It was just a plain musical program that lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The principal just spoke for the opening and closing of the program in less than 5 minutes. No long boring speeches. Lol!

They asked the parents to let the children choose what they want to wear from their "old clothes" that will represent someone who works in the city. (It has something to do with the theme of their program). In the note written is "Please don't buy anything new." (Isn't it good news? haha!)

After the program. there is an after party for every class. Finger foods such as chips, cookies, strawberries, cherries, sweets and drinks are being shared for all in the table. (They call this a party already hehe!) Very simple, right? But everybody is happy.

My daughter will be in Grade 4 next school year. Maybe the same adviser will hold their class again as they have the same teacher and classmates since grade 1.
