Tree Tuesday - 123 Years Old Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica)
This Atlas Cedar, Cedrus atlantica, is at the historic Woolmer's Estate in Tasmania and dates to 1894. It is 123 years old, has a 2 metre diameter and is 24 metres tall, or about 79 feet (Well at least that was it's height in 1989 when it was classified bu the National Trust). A beautiful specimen indeed!

What a beautiful old tree. Let's hope it survives for another 123 years.
