Cinque Terra - the Ideal Vacation Spot 五渔村，理想中的度假地

After visited Florence, we were finally in our last stop for our first trip in Italy – the Cinque Terre, which includes five Mediterranean villages Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore from north to south.

Of the five villages, I think Vernazza and Manarola are the most beautiful ones.

Overall, the Cinque Terre is a wonderful place for vacation with magnificent view of ocean, delicious Italian food, happy Italian people, and multiple hiking trails.

结束了佛罗伦萨文艺复兴之旅后，我们终于来到了意大利旅途的最后一站——五渔村。

五渔村是地中海沿岸的五个村子，从北向南依次为蒙特罗索（Monterosso al Mare）、韦尔纳扎（Vernazza）、科尔尼利亚（Corniglia）、马纳罗拉（Manarola）和里奥马焦雷（Riomaggiore）。
在这五个村子里，我觉得最美的是韦尔纳扎和马纳罗拉。

五渔村是我理想中的度假地，拥有海景、美食、欢乐的意大利人民，以及数条海景步道。再去的话怎么也要呆上一个礼拜。

Monterosso al Mare 蒙特罗索

We lived in Monterosso which is on the furthest northeast corner of the Cinque Terre.

Our host was a very kind Italian lady. She offered us a ride because her house was on the mountain. We were astonished at how fast she can drive on hilly road. Back then we were all inexperienced drivers even on flat road.

Forget about driving between villages unless you are as experienced as her. The easiest and fastest way to travel between villages is by train. You can buy Cinque Terre Train Card or one-way ticket according to your plan.

Monterosso is the only village which has beach. However, in peak season, the beach is like this…

我们住在最西北的蒙特罗索。

房东是个萌萌的意大利大姐。因为她的房子在山上，所以她开车来火车站接我们。当时我们都还是新手，在平地开车尚且战战兢兢，别提山路了。然而，这位大姐让我认识到了什么叫山路之王，什么叫如履平地。

如果你没有山路绝技的话，我觉得往返村子还是坐火车吧。火车又快又便宜，既可以买日票/两日票又可以买单次票。

说回蒙特罗索，其实除了房东大姐，我对这地方印象不是很深。翻照片只找到了旺季那如同下饺子一般的海滩——哦，据说蒙特罗索是唯一有海滩的村子。

Vernazza 韦尔纳扎

Hiking is another ideal way to travel between villages.

We hiked from Monterosso to Vernazza. It is the hardest path which can take 2-2.5 hours. I’d recommend start early because it can be hot in summer.

However, with splendid ocean and village view, two hours will pass quickly.

另一个穿梭于村庄间的交通方式就是徒步了。

我们徒步从蒙特罗索走到了韦尔纳扎。据说这是五渔村徒步路线中难度最高的一条，全程大约两到两个半小时。夏天的话最好早点出发，不然很热。其实走走停停看看海景聊聊八卦，两个多小时很快就过去。

Chiesa di Santa Margherita is on one side of the harbor. The Doria Castle is on the other side on a rocky spur.

港口一边是圣母教堂，另一侧临海的岩石上是Doria城堡遗迹，二者都有超过700年的历史了。

Corniglia科尔尼利亚

We made an epic mistake in Corniglia.

Knowing that Corniglia is the highest village in the Cinque Terra, we thought that we can watch sunset above the ocean here. The picture of sunset supported us when we climbed the Scalinata Lardarina, which is a stairway of 377 steps.

However, it’s impossible to see sunset here. Anyway, the nice panorama worth our effort.

也许是吃得太好玩得太舒服，于是在科尔尼利亚，大家的智商一起下线了。

已知科尔尼利亚是五渔村中地势最高的，我们便坚信“在那地方看海上落日一定很棒”。海上落日的胜景支撑着我们气喘吁吁地爬了377级台阶，然而爬到顶以后傻眼了，海在那里，但是落日呢。。。

不过能在观景台上远眺马纳罗拉也值得爬这一遭了。

Manarola 马纳罗拉

Manarola is the second smallest village of the Cinque Terre. However, the picture of colorful buildings on the mountain made it an icon of the Cinque Terre.

马纳罗拉是五渔村里第二小的，然而它却是五渔村的标志。如果你去谷歌五渔村，前几张照片很有可能就是马纳罗拉依山而建的彩色房子。

Riomaggiore 里奥马焦雷

I cannot find one photo of Riomaggiore in my photo library. Maybe we didn’t have enough time to visit this village.

Riomaggiore is famous for the 1km trail 'The Way of Love (Via dell'Amore)' which connects Manarola and Riomaggiore. However, the trail is closed for repair now and hopefully will reopen in 2019.

没能找到里奥马焦雷的照片，也许因为当年时间有限所以没去这个村子。

里奥马焦雷和马纳罗拉之间的步道"爱之路"也是大名鼎鼎。而且全长仅一公里，走起来应该非常轻松。但是近年间发生过几起落石击中游客的事件，这个步道时开时关。查了一下现在这个步道就在整修中，据说2019年有可能会重开。

That concludes my first trip to Italy.

Our route was Lake Como - Milan - Pisa - Florence - The Cinque Terra. I couldn't believe that we did it in four days. I visited Rome later and it was also a great experience.

There are always sunshine, tasty food, happy people and laughters when I think of my trips in Italy. It's really a wonderful vacation spot.

第一次意大利之旅就到此结束了。

我们在四天里走了科莫湖--米兰--比萨--佛罗伦萨--五渔村。时间很短，但旅途很愉快。后来去了意大利罗马，也是好吃好玩迷之放松。作为旅游地，世界上真是没有几个国家可以跟意大利相提并论。
