Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed Asia roundup brought to you by @for91days.

The temperatures are dropping here in Europe, so it's the perfect time to get inspired by travel articles from warmer spots in Asia. We're starting with a report from Thailand, with a visit to the island of Ko Lan. Then we take you to the beautiful festival of Tihar, in India, where houses are decorated with an overwhelming amount of LED lights. Last Weekend I had some time to discover a Island which is not far away from the place I live (Chonburi, Thailand). The Island is called Ko Lan, It's a small Island on the east side of the Gulf of Siam and the best destination to get there is to take a boat from Pattaya.

Are you weirded out that I started my post saying Crow? You should be because this post is an avalanche of fun we have during my favorite festival Tihar or Deepawali, the festival of lights. And you must have high endurance to go through all of the post and countless photos because this is what this festival is about i.e. countless merriment.

Great finds when driving around in Japan

I can never resist poking around and browsing at all the beautifully wrapped snacks in Japan. I love the elegant design of the wrapping. Some have a drawing of the main ingredient, like chestnut is in season now, or apple is one of the famous local produce in this area. Others just have a simple drawing or writings.
