#1 Greenland – a world of ice and snow

I love hiking posts but this one from @digi-me is really something special. He went hiking in Greenland, in his own words "A world beyond my imagination and wildest dreams.". He started at Ilulissat the third largest town, and did a glacier hike where he could hear and smell the ice! Next he went on a boat trip to Eqi glacier which is one of the most active glaciers in Greenland. He even stayed at the Galcier Eqi Lodge for a couple of days where he could hear the ice cracking and feel the ground shaking at night time because of that. That surely is a hike to remember.

#2 The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - the pearl of ABU DHABI

Next @lashotta takes us to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi in UAE. In his post, he gives us an extensive overview of the history and architecture of the building, which is the largest of its kind in the world. We also learn some tips on the best time to go, what to wear, or not to wear when visiting. The post is accompanied by a lot of stunning photographs that he took of the mosque so head over to his post and take a look at this beautiful structure yourself.

#3 The perfect day for an awesome hike in the Bavarian Alps ⛰

The last featured post today is from @lizanomadsoul, she went hiking in Germany. It took her 1.5 hours to hike up to the first viewpoint to see the Alps and the surrounding lakes. An hour later she arrived at the summit cross of Heimgarten where there are more beautiful views of the Alps. From here its another 1.5 hours to the next summit by which it was starting to get a bit foggy. Despite the fog, the sunset was stunning and she spent some time here admiring it. It takes another two hours to head back down from this point and because it was getting rather late in the day she actually had to use her mobile phone light to guide her for the latter part of the descend. Luckily she got back down fine and round off her day at a meal at her favourite restuarant.
