Introduction
Heya all, @martibis here with a new edition of #traveldigest! As you may have noticed HF20 has caused us not to post a digest for a while! For now we seem to be able to post again, but with a seriously lowered amount of posts, digests will come out depending on the content we're getting in for the next few days! The automated comments are likely also not working as intended due to the HF, we're looking into it and will provide more info as soon as we can!

#1 Living la vie de château in Beaumesnil
@haydae takes us to a castle in Beaumesnil, France. After defying the GPS @haydae ends up at the stunning baroque castle. From the outside the castle is something right out of a fairy tale, including a bridge over the moat! With the feeling of going back in time, we get to discover several amazing rooms, some holding more secrets than others. The famous perfume Channel n5 was created by Coco Chanel after she stayed here, which might give you an idea of how charming it is!

#2 Travel adventures - Trier - Germany
@delishtreats takes us to Trier, Germany. Dating back to 17 BC it is the oldest city in Germany. From the Porta Nigra, built in the 2nd century and once part of the city wall. Even though it was built during peaceful times, they still made windows in the gate for catapults! Over the centuries though, it was actively used to defend the city! After that we check out Hauptmarkt, this is the place to find cafes, restaurants and markets! The cathedral in Trier definitely looks more impressive from the outside than from the inside, yet the space is impressive still! Last but not least we check out the Kurfurstliches Palais, considered one of the most beautiful rococo palaces in the world! After being damaged during the World War, restorations helped bring it back to its former glory!

#3 Austria. Where blockbusters have been made and my thinking provoked
Our final featured post is from @lindahas, she's up on the mountains at Kaunertal Glacier in Austria. This was her last day in Austria and she went up to the mountain top to admire the amazing lake and valley below. On the way down, she did a mountain cart ride, which is a low tricycle with fat tires, and zoomed 5km down the bendy hairpin bends overtaking most other people on the way. After the cart ride she went to the Kaunertal Glacier where there is a 150m and a stone dam, as well a the surrounding beautiful scenery.

Good to see you back! I did pin a post to the map a few days ago (on the day of HF20, pretty bad timing). I think it was maybe missed due to all the chaos!
