Travel Digest
#1 EXPO ASTANA 2017 - Probably the most futuristic abandoned Place on Earth [EN/DE]
Today we go to Astana in Kazakhstan for our first featured post by @travelshots. He visited the site for the Expo 2017, a futuristic site which immediately reminds him of Star Wars. There are massive sphere shaped buildings, and lots of other futuristic looking structures here, yet hardly anyone around. Apparently a lot of money was spent on this exhibition site to host the 4 month Expo, but now its just sitting there not put into use, which is an awful waste especially the site is so interesting. In the afternoon, he continues exploring Astana, and heads over to the Pyramid of Peace and Reconciliation, and rounds off his day at the monument "Kazakh Eli" and the "Haart Sultan Mosque". Kind of weird city if you ask me, but very interesting and intriguing.

#2 Unique nature experience at one of the most attractive gorge in Germany - Einzigartiges Naturerlebnis in einer der schönsten Schlucht in Deutschland [EN/DE]
Next we're going to see a beautiful gorge called Starzlachklamm in Germany. This is the starting point for a hike that @mindscapephotos did at Allgäu, a 5km wide mountain facing the Alps. The gorge was "washed out" by a mountain river, the Starzlach, making it one of the most attractive gorges in Germany. Even if you don't plan to hike up the mountain, it is still perfect for a day out for the whole family as there are other activities such as canyoning and rockclimbing. If you do plan to go, just bear in mind the gorge is closed from November to April every year. By he way, did I tell you, the view is just stunning there?

#3 Porto (Portugal) Stock Exchange Palace: Euro trip -Day 10 歐遊歷險(波圖-葡萄牙)-第十天: 證券交易所宮
Our last featured post of the day is from @tinytaruen who takes us on a tour of the Stock Exchange Palace in Porto. Portugal. This was built in the 19th century and is now a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The neoclassical style building features a magnificent central courtyard with a octagonal glass top dome and many lavishly decorated rooms. The most stunning room is the Arab Room which has geometry designs inside and colourful glass windows.
