Traveling the World #73 (Asia Series) Naruto @ Tokushima, Japan 🇯🇵 -
Hi Steemians,
Today I’ll be taking you to Naruto in Japan. I’m sure many of you have seen the anime Naruto but there is actually a place in Japan called Naruto. Naruto is located in Tokushima, Japan. Naruto is famous for its whirlpools which can be seen at the Ōnaruto Bridge or from a boat. There are two things to keep in mind if you want to visit the whirlpool:
- To go on a fine day
- The whirlpools only happen at certain times of the day so it is best to check the website. The boats will only go out on the designated times.
Here we are! I’ve also included the board when the best times were to see the whirlpools and the boat times
After we got onto the boat, we went downstairs to check out what it looks like underneath the water. To be honest, there isn’t much to see underneath
So we went back upstairs and saw the whirlpools. It was so cool!
After 30 minutes or so, we were heading back to shore. The view of Ōnaruto Bridge was also very spectacular

so beautiful photos
How was the whirlpool formed? Do you know?
These look cool. It's disappointing there isn't more happening under the water though.
Also, can you check your coordinates. It's showing up as Italy.
Hey @choogirl good to see you a round again. Yes not much happening underneath but i guess it was cool from the top
Thanks for letting me know re: coordinates. Fixed!
