San Francisco to Sausalito Ferry
Fun day in the bay today. We went to Sausalito via ferry from San Francisco. We started on BART in Dublin. Unfortunately, we had to take a bus bridge from 19th St to West Oakland due to maintenance but still beats driving into the city.
San Francisco Ferry from Pier 1 at the Ferry Building to Sausalito across the bay.
Pulling away from Ferry Building with TransAmerica Tower in the background.
View of Bay Bridge.
Alcatraz over the rail of the ferry.
Golden Gate Bridge with one tower in the fog.
Sausalito is a lovely community across the bay from San Francisco in Marin county.
Cool residences crawl up the hills from the bay.
Downtown area has lots of restaurants and art galleries plus assorted tourist shops.
Returning as the sunset on the bay.

Thanks @tussar11
It must have been a beautiful boat ride
It is one of the prettiest ferry rides anywhere. And a great way to see San Francisco.
Looks like an awesome boat ride.
Awesome. My son wanted to do this before he went back east for school and it was perfect end to summer.
I like ferry rides! Will have to plan for a trip like yours some time in the future :-)
The views of San Francisco are awesome and Sausalito is a pretty area also
Great photos! My cousin and his family live in Sausalito. Wouldn't it be hilarious if someday someone took a picture in some faraway town, and there was someone in the scene that you recognized? Ha. Odds are miniscule!
Thanks :) Yes that would be crazy. I actually took out a photo with my wife and kids in it haha
