Mit dem Bus fahre ich wieder zurück in die Stadtmitte zur Station Sacha Theater (Sacha ist die jakutische Bezeichnung für Jakutien).

By bus I go back to the city center to the station Sacha Theater (Sacha is the Yakutian name for Yakutia).

erreiche ich das "Arktisches staatliches Institut für Kunst und Kultur".

I reach the "Arctic State Institute of Art and Culture".

Mit Hilfe einiger Studenten gelange ich in das Haus und dort an die Rektorin, die mich schon erwartet und es geht auch gleich los. Ich kann gerade noch darum bitten eine nordische Schamanetrommel zu bekommen, als die Studenten ankommen und einen großen Tanzraum füllen. Ich soll ein Konzert geben! Aha, so lerne ich also die Kultur kennen, indem man zuerst mich kennenlernt. Das ist für mich ein große Ehre und ich gebe mein bestes.

With the help of some students I get into the house and there to the rector, who already expects me and then it goes very quick. I can just ask to get a Nordic shaman drum as the students arrive and fill a big dance room. I should give a concert! Aha, so I get to know the culture, first by getting them to know me. This is a great honor for me and I give my best.

Auf den Photos sind meine Zuhörer zu sehen: Ringsum, aus über 25 verschiedenen Ethnien, bei genauer Betrachtung können unterschiedliche Merkmale ausgemacht werden, für mich natürlich ein Buch mit 7 Siegeln.

On the photos my listeners can be seen: All around, from over 25 different ethnic groups, on closer inspection different characteristics can be identified, for me, of course, a book with seven seals.

Nach dem Konzert lasse ich mich noch mit meiner Kamera ablichten, erkennbar an den offenen Augen der Zuhörer.

After the concert, I let myself be photographed with my camera, recognizable by the open eyes of the audience.

Über das Konzert selber schreibe ich heute nichts, es kommt in einem späteren Artikel sicherlich zur Sprache. Tage an denen ich nur 1 Konzert mache sind selten, meistens sind es 2 oder 3. Also noch genug Möglichkeiten.

I do not write anything about the concert itself today, it certainly comes up in a later article. Days where I only make 1 concert are rare, mostly 2 or 3. So still enough possibilities.

Das obligatorische Abschlußbild darf natürlich nicht fehlen, das ist immer so, egal wo ich war. Wir werden einige von Ihnen bald wiedersehen, dann zeigen sie was sie schon gelernt haben!

ebenfalls eine Professorin der jakutischen Kultur Ihr Buch über die traditionellen Tänze des jakutischen Volkes. Die vielen Zeichnungen und Bilder in den Büchern vermitteln mir schon eine Vorstellung vom Inhalt, der sich erst mit der Lektüre eröffnen wird. Aber der Stolz auf die eigene Kultur ist deutlich zu erkennen und ich erkenne ihn respektvoll aus ganzem Herzen an.

So, jetzt zurück nach Hause, auf spiegelglattem Eis, das durch die Frühlingssonne angetaut wurde und nun am Nachmittag wie neu glänzt. Jedoch sind ab und zu schon Stellen zu sehen die eisfrei sind.

"столица земли олонхо.." Die Hauptstadt der Erde vom Oloncho begrüßt seine Gäste. Oloncho ist der Epengesang der Jakuten, dazu später mehr.

Es gibt auch Statuen die nicht Lenin oder Stalin zeigen.

Das Hauptpostamt, meine Quelle für neue Rubel, und immer gut für eine paar Gespräche beim warten. Dazu muß ich es jetzt mal sagen: Die Jukuten sind das freunlichste Volk das mir jemals begegnet ist. Egal welches Alter und Geschlecht, immer ein Lächeln und immer Zeit für ein paar Worte. Es ist eines der wenigen Völker, von dem niemals eine kriegerische Auseinandersetzung ausgegangen ist. Sie haben sich immer weiter in den Norden zurückgezogen, so weit bis sie niemand mehr verdrängen wollte.

The main post office, my source for new rubles, and always good for a few talks while waiting. Now I have to say it: The Jukutian are the most joyful people that I have ever encountered. No matter what age and gender, always a smile and always time for a few words. It is one of the few peoples of which there has never been a warlike conflict. They have retreated further and further into the north, until they no longer displaced.
