Exploring Osaka - A Look Inside the TRUCK Furniture Workshop

I was just looking back through my old content here on Steemit (which, by the way, is very hard to do!) and I realised that I had missed some nice photography that I took inside the workshop of TRUCK Furniture in Osaka, Japan. I already posted about their showroom (here) and their cafe (here), so it made sense to round it off with some pictures of the young makers making the furniture inside the TRUCK workshop.

I really respect the owner Tokuhiko Kise as he tries to employ and teach young creatives and let them hone their skills inside the workshop. After a while they are able to work on some of the projects that will be made for clients, furniture from the showroom that can be seen in the room above this floor of the building. It's also nice to know that he tries to teach them English in their lunch break, hoping to widen their knowledge and open new doors to in their lives.

My project at OEN is still quite small in comparison, I mean Tokuhiko has a cafe, restaurant, workshop and showroom, but his company offers inspiration to those such as myself. I'm still a fledgling in comparison but hope to do something similar in the future with my own work, not only building my business but also working hard to promote craft to the youth and offer something of value to humanity.

If you would like more information on TRUCK I recommend visiting their website here. Here are a few photos below, I hope you like them and will visit their cafe and showroom if you're ever in Osaka. Enjoy!
