Exploring Osaka - A Look Inside BIRD Coffee
I’m happy to see my Steemit followers have been enjoying the series that I put together on Osaka-based company TRUCK Furniture. These furniture makers, of which I have already posted pictures of their showroom and workshop, also own BIRD Coffee, a cafe/restaurant that sits directly opposite to the workshop. So to cap this series off I also wanted to share a couple of photos from inside this location too.
BIRD Coffee features their beautiful furniture as well as other objects sourced from the TRUCK showroom. I think this is great, it shows that they not only sell these works but also use them and show their functional value. Most things are handmade or have been sourced locally, so this coffee shop has a very authentic feel to it. On the menu is a mixture of meals, from curry to salads and sandwiches, but they are most famous for their fine coffee and beautiful doughnuts that I tried to take a few pictures of. If you ever get the chance to visit please try a few of the doughnuts, you won’t be disappointed. 🙂 Here are some photos below of the interior. Enjoy.
