Many years ago when I first went to Guilin, I live in the south, been to many mountains, but very unique landscape of Guilin, the highest mountain in no more than 300 meters, so you can hardly see high-rise buildings in Guilin.
许多年前我第一次去桂林，我生活在南方，去过许多名山，但桂林的山水很独特，最高的山不超过300米， 所以在桂林你很难看到高层建筑

但随后这几年我跟随朋友们再去广西， 发现最好的山水并不是桂林， 比桂林山水好的地方很多，如被誉为“世界长寿之乡， 巴马瑶族自治县,广西梧州的茶山湖，高原千岛湖等等

The mountains stretch resembles an elephant standing in the river water nose, hence the name, is a symbol of Guilin
山因酷似一只大象站在江边伸鼻吸水，因此得名，是桂林的象征

其实我想露点，学学甜心，英文太菜了，想写长篇大论，但好困难 ：）
说实话你现在的英语部分可能老外实在看不下去。
我给你一个建议。你把你钓鱼、四处旅游的事情好好用心写一篇精品帖子，然后找人给你翻译，我想上个一千刀肯定没问题，搞不好要几千刀。
Wow, you just gave China a different face with those photos. When I was still checking out news years ago( I stopped), I thought your country is too polluted and just dirty. Your pics just made it look like one place deserving to be bucket listed. The rice terraces reminded me of what we have in Banaue Philippines . The women on costumes as well and they somewhat look like some of our women, too just silky white - skinned. Great travel post!
China's environment is very good in many cities, tourism has been very popular

真美。新加坡有个小桂林。没得去桂林也该去小桂林自我安慰一下。:-)
这是很早的旅行，现在看桂林，很普通，一般，风景好，原始的地方都是人少， 人多的地方风景已不在了，
就拿上面这张灯打出来的岩石来说，由于人呼吸的空气，岩石基本上变黑色了 ：）
听了觉得有点可惜。
风景照很美，壮族的姑娘们也很美。你们有在漓江坐船吗？

多谢支持， 是的，要坐船， 坐到县城，回程再坐车， 美是美，不过合影都得收费 ：），漓江，大榕树，刘三姐现在都太商业化了，桂林是上市公司，去年买了它的股票就是不涨，不如长白山涨的好 ：）
我就说嘛，吃货咋能不发美食呢，进来一看，果然不失所望
桂林的美食米粉，还不到湖南的米粉好吃，印像非常深，点了两碗，结果送上来的是两大盘， 阳朔县城比较西方化，不过今年好像大水全淹了 ：）
