Coffee in Constanta's Marina
Nothing beats a cup of coffee in the morning, by the sea with old friends! Maybe only some juicy gossips? No, just kidding!
In case you are wondering where is the coffee, keep in mind that I took the photos prior to my friends' arrival. It looked too beautiful and I did not wanted to risk the chance of forgetting about it. Not when I wanted to share these with you! Romania is a beautiful country that needs more exposure!
I love the new look or the Tomis Port (The Old Port of Constanta)! This new facelift is definitely a plus for the city! Now it can easily rival a Mediterranean port! It's clean, elegant, the service is good, parking is no longer a problem and the view is stunning!
Tomis Port is far more attractive to tourists than it was in the previous years. Back then it used to be only a harbour for old boats waiting for repairs. Nowadays it's a beautiful promenade area which attracts a lot of visitors.
I was impressed by the great variety of restaurants and cafes in the Marina. In the evening or during the weekends it tends to be crowded, as it fills with locals and tourists.
I don't recall seeing so many yachts, sailing boats or a dock during my last visits here. Kudos to those who contributed to this new facelift of the marina!
Wouldn't you love to have a coffee in here, smell the salty air, feel the breeze caressing your skin, listen to the seagulls while enjoying the view?

There really aren't many tourists there, could be a great vacation destination. Especially because it's not overrun yet like Venice or Barcelona
It has a lot of attractions for tourists and it is not too pricy.
Woow beautiful place. Tomis Port

Looks really nice and beautiful.
Thanks!
Nicee coverage @lymepoet!
It does look like a really nice place to spend an afternoon/evening 😉
Thanks! It's even nicer in the evening when it's cooler!
I haven't seen how it used to look before, but as someone from a Mediterranean island, I have mixed feelings. The gentrification of such place makes it seem like a place for the upper-class, fancy yacht people. I'd love to see more sea and less man-made boats/vessels. Nonetheless, I'm sure the air and smell of the sea are wonderful, and it must have been a nice relaxing time for a coffee.
Before it was not a commercial area. As a matter of fact it was not safe to walk there in the evening/night. It does have an upper-class look, but the prices are not that high compared to the city. As for the sea, I will have other posts on it. ;0) Have a wonderful day!
