Every year for the last like 28 years Mexicans from all over the country have been gathering on the Costera here in Acapulco for the event known as Acamoto. We always hear it before we see it, as the sounds of reving motorycle engines ring up the mountain. Last year we had just gotten our motorcycle and went but I didn't take any photos as we had just gotten the camera too. This time I took my camera and was reminded of how hard it is to get photos at night while moving. It wasn't long before people started posing like in the photo above.

There were people all over in bikes but there was one main section in the club area of town near Paradise Dance Club sectioned off completely for it.

The photo above shows where the madness started.

The place was nothing short of a zoo of guys trying to show off their bikes and their women and guys wishing they had bikes and women. Many of them got a kick out of the spectacle that was us, which must have been something as I had my bright red camera in hand trying to capture the event.

This guy had a pretty amazing back tattoo that was worth working to get a photo of.

If you didn't alreadly know, there's a bungee jumping platform open to the public in the night club area on the Costera.

I've got a lot more photos to share and will likely go and take more, so stay tuned!
