Jungle Shots: Birds on a Boulder, Big Lizard and a Trash Fire

While we witness funny little moments like the one in the photo above we don't always get to take a photo. No doubt John saw the specs on top of the boulder and took shots to identify and to share, finding out they were birds in the process. I actually remember when he showed these photos to me on the camera.

Trash fires like this are a common site, all over the city.

Living in what's technically a National Forest has it's perks, but honestly the wildlife here can be both a perk and a drawback. I often miss the tame climate, bugs and animals from my home temperate climate.
