Exploring a new city will always be one of my favorite pastimes. Having a camera in hand is one of the most freeing feelings I have experienced and the opportunity to capture the feel of an urban landscape is something that I will never take for granted.

Being so involved in other projects this year, I haven't had much of a chance to travel or shoot many photographs in general. Before taking a week long trip to the Boston area for my Mother's 60th birthday, I decided to get a 40mm pancake lens to make my Canon 6D much easier to have on me during the trip.

On one of the last day's of the trip, we decided to explore downtown Boston, a city I have never been to prior.
