Climbing the peaks of Romania: Hiking diary vlog #02
Since last time we left off I was about to start climbing and without my knowledge it ended up, as you will see in this video, to be a climb that would take me right to the peak 2504m up. It was during this period I realized I might not have been too well prepared, watch me struggle! What is an adventure without a little bit of unpredictability?
A complete unfiltered experience
Romania Transylvania is one of the last truly wild places in Europe and with it comes stunning nature that you rarely get to see, especially inside Europe. It is my passion while staying in Romania to discover as many of the grand nature that Romania has to offer and showing it with you guys right here on steemit!
While I am going to make some "action-packed" footage with music and all that shenanigans with only the highlights. This is my vlog and because of that my complete unfiltered experience as I journey on through these places. Sometimes it might show my imperfect sides, sometimes it might be boring or even silly. But it is my hope to show how hiking feels without too much fuss. It was interesting to be vlogging while I was solo hiking out there in the wilderness, it gave me a sense of being able to discuss with myself and take decisions as I ventured forth which was not always easy given how unprepared I realized I was.
Hope you guys are gonna enjoy my adventure! :)

Beautiful place
Wow, I'm so jealous. Transylvania must be so exraordinary. It's on my list!
It is beautiful and so many cool and different places to see!
hiking is soo lovely i really enjoyed it 😍 especially mountain hiking
Yeah it is great man!
There was no sneeze at the beginning of the video, I am disappointed :( :D
Awesome hike Mikkel - 2,500 m above the sea level is a massive height! Was that the highest you have ever been to?
If you think about it, it is actually not much compared to some of those truly big mountains that exsist! But yes, for me it was huge thinking I am coming from small flat Danmark where the highest points is like 200m. lol.
The highest I have been by bike was 2000m and that felt way higher actually. (probably because fighting gravity on wheels with luggage feels worse)
Oh I forgot how flat Denmark is :D That´s a good point. Our highest mountain is 1,602 m which is not that much but still higher than yours, that´t for sure :D The highest place I have been to so far was the Mount del Teide on Tenerife (3,718 m) but (shamefully), we used a bus and cable car to get there so you have my utmost respect to get those 2,500 m by yourself! Great job.
