Saratoga Farmers' Market / 薩拉托加農夫市場

Last saturday before we started our L.A. trip, our friend suggested us to visit local farmers market. We picked one closest to our home : Saratoga Framers' Market.

出發到洛杉磯之前，友人提議我們到本地的市場去看看，所以我們就選擇了最近的一個： 薩拉托加農夫市場。

This is not a large scale market but it has everything a farmers' market should have, which is good enough for us. First booth we saw which was right next to the parking lot was a cheeses booth, so the girls got their first free tasting of that morning. They said the cheeses were good, I didn't tried so no comment from me.

這只是一個普通我本地市場，規模一般，不過已經夠我們逛一逛的。當我們由停車場走進去，第一個出現的攤檔就是這個芝士攤檔。 女兒們亦嚐到她們今天的第一次免費試食。 她們說十分美味。

Close to this cheeses booth were a honey booth, a Shave Ice booth and a BBQ chicken cart. You know what the girls would like to have, right?

這攤檔旁邊有賣蜜糖的，賣刨冰的，還有是賣燒雞的。我想你可以預計到女兒們會選擇什麼。

After settling down the girls, we could walked around and enjoy the market. There were lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, fishes, meats, jams, condiment and sauces. Many of the shops provided generous free tasting. They were so good that you could easily justified the higher price tag (when compared to supermarkets).

應付過女兒之後，我倆開始逛逛這個市場。除了水果，蔬菜，還有肉類，魚類，連果醬，調味料和醬油都是一應俱全。 大部分的攤檔都提供份量十足的試食。 所有東西的味道都是十分之好。 難怪它們的價格比起超市要高上不少。

There were also cooked food for your stomachs after a morning of shopping (if you still felt hungry after all the free tasting).

如果你(在試食之後)覺得餓，這裏也有熟食攤檔為你服務。

Your spiritual need could also be met after your physical needs were fulfilled.

連心靈都能給你餵得飽飽的。

This concluded our farmers' market visit and we then prepared for L.A. trip.

聽過音樂之後，我們就離開這個農夫市場，為洛杉磯之旅作最後準備。
