It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and the world’s oceans. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. There were a great amount of entries this time around with the vast majority of a very high quality! As the matter of fact the pictures that were submitted yesterday were world class and o pick just one was almost impossible.

Calm and dangerous - The world's oceans

Many people work "on the water" - Fishermen, workers on drilling islands, marines, crewmembers of cruiseships. The work can be wonderful but also pretty dangerous in some situations. The images shows the peaceful sunrise on the Ijesselmeer in the Netherlands.

In this photo i going to show you the impressive Singapore Skyline from a different perspective. Beginning on the left side, you'll see the Marina Bay Sands Hotel with his Shopping center, followed by the Singapore Flyer and the ArtScience Museum. And finally on the right side by the water front, the Formula One Pit Building. This photo was taken from the Benjamin Sheares Bridge.

This year I spent nearly 10 months traveling around Australia exploring and discovering places I have never thought existed. This self-timed shot wasn't the easiest photo I've taken, the tripod was sitting on the tiny ledge of the walls with water flowing underneath.

The winner of the weekly challenge will be selected by you based on the dollar value of the individual daily winner announcement posts and then entered to a mothly and possibly yearly challenge on the way to win the price of 150 SBD in total.
