7 World's Continents Photo Challenge - week #13 - vote for your favorite picture of the week!

Hello everyone,

I am really pleased with all the entries in week #13 of my 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge. So far I have given some $1600 in upvotes to winning participants, especially winners of the daily challenges and another 300 in SBD to weekly and monthly winners. This post is a summary of the daily winners that will be competing for 15 SBD that I will send to a steemian of the winning photo of the weekly challenge. The winner of the weekly challenge will be picked based on your upvotes and will be announced next Monday. The winner of the weekly challenge will not only receive 15 SBD from me but will also automatically enter the monthly challenge to compete for another 30 SBD against the winners of weekly challenges of that particular month. Monthly winner than enters into a yearly challenge to compete against other monthly winners for another 100 SBD. The winner of the entire competition is totaling approximately 150 SBD.

Below is the 7 winning images of this week that are competing against each other to collect 15 SBD reward and to enter other stages of the competition. It is up to you my fellow steemians who the winner will be as the highest amounts of upvotes on the below winner announcements will determine who will be that winning steemian. Many weeks in the Sunday Asian contest, I see photos from Hong Kong so today I decided to submit my own. It really is such a photogenic city. And if you haven't been, the best place to go at night for an incredible view of the city is Victoria Peak. It's definitely busy and filled with other people trying to take photos, but it's totally worth the effort to get a shot like this.

So lets continue the ICE AGE theme. Another shot from the frozen coastline at Baltic sea near Klaipeda, Lithuania. This shot is taken early in the cold winter morning (after certain period of very negative temperature, when even seacoast starts to get frozen) Lower point of view (if remember right even without i tripod, camera was just laying on the ground, as well as me... actually) makes this piece of ice really stand out.

Some people think Africa is flat with a single big mountain called Kilimanjaro. I can assure you that is not true. Here in South Africa we have magnificent mountains and if you run/hike on them at the right time, you'll find a piece of heaven on earth!

In Austria there are a lot of lakes surrounded by mountains and forests. So it is paradise for those who like hills and skiing. This is one of them - amazing Attersee. The picture was shot a few years ago.

On Top of the World - One World Trade Centre

It's a very unique feeling standing on top of Manhattan, 102 floors up, in the tallest building in the Western hemisphere and sixth tallest in the world! You get the feeling that everything is possible... it's New York!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – South American Saturday week #13 – winner announcement!

@phortun South American entry:

View of the Caribbean Sea right after the entrance to the Cahuita National Park, Costa Rica. The park is small (you can walk it back and forth in a few hours) but the variety of wildlife you will encounter on the trail is just astonishing. We saw monkeys, sloths, toucans, raccoons and much more. Highly recommended :) Photo taken in September 2017.
