Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and the world’s oceans - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Antarctica. I am also adding world's oceans to the challenge as I am guessing it would be fairly hard to get many entries for Antarctica only.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

The famous Tegalalang Rice Terrace are a spot just outside of Ubud on Bali. Its one of the most stunning Rice Terraces on Bali. They're well maintained and if you come the right time of the year the color is just awesome.

Darwin is a very special place to observe strange weather phenomenons. During the build up (in between dry and rain season) wonderful sunset take place in the sky with mystical shaped clouds. Later at night the weather usually turn into a magnetic Strom during which thousand of lightning brother the sky.

The world oceans feed people, they connect people, they can be peaceful and dangerous at once. Today we can even generate energy by tidal forces or wave energy power plants.
The fishermen look so peaceful during the sunset at the beach in Tarifa, Spain. It's the Atlantic coastline where the image was taken.

Marine Iguanas on La Española Island in the Galapagos, Last month we were making a cruise in the Galapagos and it gave us the opportunity to take pictures of many animals in theese beautiful islands, this are two marine Iguanas coming out of the sea to rest.
The green sea turtle is currently listed as an endangered species. Hunting, egg collection, pollution, entanglement in fishing gear and loss of nesting beaches have had major implications on populations of this beautiful creature. I spotted this one on one of the many islands of the Great Barrier Reef.
This is a picture of the Mediterranean Sea in Tel Aviv, Israel. The beaches in Tel Aviv are really great for a relaxing getaway after seeing all of the historic landmarks in this country. My visit to Israel was one of the best trips I've ever taken and I'm lucky to have photos like this to remind me of that.
The Great Atlantic Ocean.
Sometimes calm, sometimes ruthless. It's very typical in this place to get gale winds because of the Gibraltar Strait, so when the Mediterranean sea is raging the Atlantic is calm and vice versa.
This was taken in Tarifa, Spain.
Here is the mighty Atlantic Ocean from the cliffs of Wales, near Saint Govans Chapel on the south coast of Wales. The awesome power of the sea was witnessed as it crashed mercilessly into the cliff walls.
I capture this photo during my summer vacation. Its the most peaceful place on Earth. Felling that you get from just sitting on the rocks and watching amazing unexplored ocean during sunset in extraordinary!
Okay, here we go. Almost same story as last week. Never been to Antarctica, but, again, do you really need to go so far away to see some similar view of valleys of ice and snow and all nature completely frozen? Here is a view of frozen Baltic Sea shoreline, nearby Klaipeda, Lithuania. Do You feel the cold? I guess YES

Secluded empty beach on the Mayan Riviera, Caribbean coast of Mexico. The coconut was "installed" there by me :D but everything else including the color of the water is 100% authentic :) Photo taken last week.

The picture is taken on sunset in a Vormsi iceland.
Many people like traveling on summer... Try to do this in winter - it is very specific and very interesting. The colors on a frosen ice are much different to summer colors. Unfortunately it was cloudy evening and all the beauty of ice sparking was not seen.
