View of the Liberec Townhall. Found in the center of Liberec, Northern Czech Republic, the townhall is an impressive, Neo-Renaissance building that was completed in 1893. With a height of 65 m (213 ft), it is the most dominant landmark of the city. Source: Shutterstock, author: jurra8

I am really happy to see more and more great photos being submitted to this challenge every day. Yesterday was no exception, we had several awesome entries featured in the photo challenge, including this amazing panoramic winter image taken by our regular contributor @narchuk with the following description:

Small and very beautiful city of Cesky Krumlov. It's especially nice to stay there for a few days. Then you can walk the streets, at a time when most of the tourists leave. This is the best time to feel the peculiarity of this place.

Greetings Tomas, and every other beautiful soul you gathered here in our small community!
This photo was taken few years ago in Ondrejov, small village 35 kilometers south-east of Prague, at Astronomicky Ustav with the largest optical telescope in Czech Republic (2m). I was going back to sleep from very busy and exhausting observing night, and suddenly, I saw this beautiful deer wandering around the meadow in front of radio telescope. I sneaked behind a tree and took few amazing photos. This is my favourite!
I really like my job which gives me opportunity to explore the Universe and at the same time travel to great destinations with beautiful touch of nature.

Hi! I actually like the fact you mentioned about our small community. I was thinking about that few days back and I can start seeing some good relations being build here between the users which is fantastic. I am sure if we all add some value in one way or other we can make this platform to be very successful. Have a great day. Tomas

Swans on the Vltava River

This photo shows the Vltava River from the Manes Bridge with four white swans in the foreground and beyond the Baroque dome and bell tower of the Church of St Nicholas. This part of the Lesser Town is very picturesque with many fine poplar and willow trees growing along the banks of the river.

Looks amazing! The image looks almost like an oil painting

I took this image during the Prague Signal Festival (spectacular night lightshow held in front of many famous sites of the city) in summer 2015. The building in the background is Rudolfinum, an important neo-renaissance building that currently serves as the seat of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.

The church of Saint Wenceslaus, the oldest existing building in Prague' district Prosek (U Proseckého Kostela str.), was built at the turn of 11-12th centuries. This oldest core of the church (three-nave Romanesque basilica) was heavily damaged during Hussite wars. The church was in the last quarter of the 15th century, repaired in Gothic style. But in 1648 was again damaged by Swedish army. Baroque clocktower was built in 1712 and the last big changes were made around 1770, when original rectangular Romanesque internave pillars were masoned into oval ones.

Karmelitská street in Praha. There is a church of Saint Nicholas in the bacground. Every corner of this church can be nice.
You can find this street in old town, Malá Strana. Karmelitska is a busy street and you can buy some food in Subway. Cc6i99.jpeg

I found that Trabants, the cars of the former East Germany (GDR or DDR), are still popular in the Czech Republic; in many countries are pieces of collection. I took a photo of this comercial advertisment in the city of Brno, showing an event/movie concerning Trabants.

This photo was taken in the heart of Hrensko. The small village Hrensko is located near the border with Germany. On this photo you can see the Church of St. John of Nepomuk, surrounded by many restaurants serving local cuisine.

Mikulov Highlands

This photo presents the panorama of the city of Mikulov.
Mikulov is a beautiful city with a beautiful castle.
It's located near the Austrian border. I really enjoyed staying there before leaving Czech Republic.

I was there for the first time few months back and absolutely love it. I am definitely going back there again when I get a chance. Tomas

When the swan posed for my picture :)
We actually timed our walk to the Kampa Park during the times all the swans flocked here. Charles Bridge in Prague is simply beautiful. It is usually crowded with tourists ,street artists and a lot of street musicians. But if you want to enjoy a good walk on this bridge, then early morning is the best time.

There is a plaza in Prague called Stalin Plaza located in the Letenske Sady park. It is a famous skate spot where every skateboarder from around the world comes to skate when visiting Prague. It is also a frequent place where young people chill and have beer. I took this photo during my visit to Prague for the Mystic Skate Cup in 2015. The shoes hanging on the wire were an instant inspiration! Cheers to this wonderful plaza!
