Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dali-gis:

Prague, Karolo quarto sculpture, Czech republic. Charles the fourth. Statue of Charles IV., the Holy Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia, is situated at the Knights of the Cross Square near the Charles Bridge. It is one of the most important neo-Gothic statues in Central Europe. The Charles IV. Monument was revealed in 1849, because there were fights around it in 1848 and the statue had to be encased to be protected from damage.

I've been to Hrensko several times but somehow missed this place. Hidden a few feet away from the road stuck between the rocks, this magical hotel/restaurant lies almost invisible to the tourist's eye.

Yep, that sure is like a place from a movie set. Well worth featuring in today's contest. Have a great day. Tomas

Thanks! Please do ;) Running out of new CZ-Photos ;) Time for another short trip

Crowds of tourists entering the Charles Bridge, a magnificent historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river in the center of Prague. Measuring 621 metres (2,037 ft) long, the bridge is decorated by a continuous alley of 30 statues and statuaries. You can see one on the right :)

In the foreground of the photo, it can be seen part of the Prague astronomical clock (or Prague orloj) and in the background the Gothic towers of the Church of Our Lady before Týn.
The clock has two dials. The upper one is the astronomical clock itself and the lower (shown in more detail in the photo) is a calendar
It has four figures around it: a philosopher, an angel, an astronomer and a writer. The photo shows only the first three figures.

This Charles Bridge is a stunning place to go for sunrise before all the stalls open and the public arrive. A must see if in prague. Magnificent Views and ultra-touristy rip off vendors. Great for people watching and city views but can be extremely congested.

Cesky Krumlov is a really really beautiful place. With the river and small cobblestones streets, it is definitely worth a visit. It was a bit crowded at times, but never too bad. It's small, but still very nice to walk around and a nice place to grab lunch and some dessert after :)

Lom Velká Amerika
Beautiful and if you are adventurous, it can be adrenaline. The entire quarry can be traversed along the marked trail, but you will not see much except a few views.Very pleasant walk with wonderful admirable views. To see the beauty of the quarry, it must be a forbidden boundary where there is no protection and narrow paths.

The Old Town Square is actually a great place. In addition to many beautiful ornate old houses and the Tyn Church with its two towers, there is also the Old Town Hall. It's magic; a unique place Romantic if you go with your partner.

A real treasure in Europe. Very medieval, surrounding the town hall square, are the historic buildings of the city. Walking and getting lost in the streets of Prague is priceless. Pearls to visit: the Church of Tyn and its twin towers, the old town hall with its famous astronomical clock, the Church of St. Nicholas, the Rudolfinum, the Jewish Quarter of Prague and its synagogue. Nothing like it in Europe!

despite that I generally really dislike to see horses in this position - from the ˋartistic aspect´ only this is a great picture

This Church of St Ludmila looked lovely from the outside- and the square outside is nice. This beautifull old neo-Gothic church is located in the park in Peace square (Náměstí Míru). It's nice peacefull location. In the park you can take a break. All church ''lovers'' are welcome.

Cesky Krumlov
If you are a fan of the Renaissance period of history and enjoy tales of kings, queens, and knights doing battle, then this is your place! If you are simply a fan of history, this is your place. Amazingly preserved village complete with the castle on the hill. Interesting story of how this centuries old tiny place survived wars and evolutionary progress.
