Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @seetheworld.sgp:

I was walking across Charles Bridge at 5am, not a soul was on the bridge save for a few drunken revellers. I looked back and saw no one was in sight, the sky was brightening and the lamps were still on, with the statues giving an eerie silhouette. So I crouched low next to the stone and took this shot. Hope you like it :)

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

St. Vitus Cathedral
Wow! Just stunning inside and out. Great picture taking opportunities. Lots of us there visiting but it is worth the crowds! The cathedral is impressive, take time to read the explanations. The architecture is really huge and nice, i was impressed how it is well maintained. Beautiful church in the Prague castle.

Yep, that sure is very impressive inside out. There weren't that many occasions when I have published something from the inside as the main entry to the contest and today would be a great day to do just that to start the week off. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas

View of one of the islands on the Vltava River in Prague. (yes, there are several islands in Prague :) As you can see, ther river gets pretty busy with traffic in summer. You can rent a paddle boat or hop on a huge cruise ship to enjoy some unusual views of the Prague´s iconic architecture.

My contribution today shows the Jindrisska Tower, one of the towers lots of tourists never see. It was originally built in the 15th century, but was rebuilt after a fire in the 18th century. It is now a great place where tourists can enjoy a nice panorama view of Prague, and have a cup of coffee.

"Church of St. Nicholas"
after having crossed the Charles bridge you arrive at Mala Strana and in 2 minutes you arrive at the Church of S. NIcola, along the road arriving in a beautiful square. Do not miss the view from the church's "gallery" to admire the ceiling frescoes and the fine organ.

Just A Really Cool Charles Bridge over the Vltava River
Nice place to take a stroll. Beautiful statues all along and great views of the water. There is a small museum at the kne end as well. Vendors and artists on the bridge. There were also people at the one end with animals you could take pictures with. One was a snake and one was birds so be aware of this if you have any fears.

After a long time, I join the competition again. I gradually process photomaterials from my holidays in the Jeseníky Mountains. Today, I will let you present a panoramic GIF for review. It was purchased near the town of Jeseník. The dormitories are part of the railway of Emperor Franz Joseph II, which the Emperor personally put into operation in 1888. The local track is also called The Silesian (Slezský) Semmering.

My picture of the Church of Mother of God before Týn (in Czech Kostel Matky Boží před Týnem, also Týnský chrám is a gothic church and a dominant feature of the Old Town of Prague, Czech Republic.

Historic Center of Cesky Krumlov
This is a great place to visit and stroll the village. This old village looks like it is straight out of a fairy tale. The cobble stone lanes lead you through some very nice old buildings. The views are amazing as this is a photographers heaven.

Lom Velká Amerika
It was a nice experience to see these beautiful lakes. A lot of walking and a lot of nature to see. This is a destination that most tourist wouldn't know about since they spend most of their time in Prague. It's always good to get knowledge from locals.

Beautiful St. Nicholas Church, located on the Old Town Square. Small in size, but somehow majestic. I went to a concert of classical music, which was conducted in the evening in this Church. This church is beautiful not only from the outside, but also inside.
