Kaç yılı ömür sayarlar, kaç cenaze kalkar yürekte,
Reşit oldu özlemin, bir ömrü sana bağlıyorum,
Takvim yaprakları yerini alırken tarihte,
Müjdeni aldığım günden bugüne ağlıyorum,
Geldiğinde dünya daha güzel olacak bana,
Sen benim sevdamın kanadı olacaksın,
Çocuk kokunu çekerken ruhuma,
Son nefesime kadar kollarımda kaybolacaksın,
Yaşın ilerleyecek, yaşlanacaksın belkide,
Düşme korkusunu, içimden atamayacaksın
Sana olan sevgimi hissedeceksin daima,
Ve sevgime sarılmadan yatamayacaksın,
Şimdi ne kadar anlatsam duymayacaksın,
Bunlar burada dursun belki birgün okuyacaksın,
Anlatsam asırlar boyu, yazsam satırlarca,
En güzelini geldiğinde kendin anlayacaksın...
