Every day provides us with opportunities to celebrate. Today I invite you to celebrate the fun of making and throwing paper airplanes!

PAPER AIRPLANES

Paper airplanes fly away,
memories of fun and play,

from childhood,
it’s all good.

Only teacher’s see despair,
when paper airplanes are in the air!

Unless it is science class,
and aerodynamics is the task.

The teacher’s gift,
Is explaining lift!

The teacher can brag,
he knows about drag.

This will get student’s attention,
and focus them on the lesson.

Will you be bold,
and try a unique fold?

Or stay with a classic,
just so you can pass it?

Now for the fun,
the testing has begun!

Will it soar high,
into the sky?

Or take a nose dive?
Did it survive,

to take flight again,
or was it the planes end?

Either way, I hope you’ll play.
with a paper airplane today!
