It’s American Red Cross Founders Day,
Thanks Clara Barton for leading the way.

For creating an organization
that helps many nations.

The American Red Cross,
helps with disasters and loss.

This humanitarian cause,
helped change the law,

convincing the government in session,
to ratify the Geneva Convention.

They collect blood,
help when there’s a flood,

teach safety and first aid,
for this they deserve accolades.
They rely on donations,
from individuals and foundations.

Will you give,
to help others live?
