Voice chat is one of the great features of Discord that often goes underused.

At @thesteemengine, we're all about connecting users in order to improve engagement across Steemit. Yesterday, we hosted the second edition of our new Talk of the Line segment, where we invited members to come on a voice channel in our Discord server and talk about their most recent posts!

@ethandsmith shared the latest efforts from @trufflepig, a great new initiative that uses a machine learning algorithm to spot quality content across Steemit.

Chatter

We discussed many other subjects in this session, including the recent Bloomberg article about Steemit and DTube, a website developed by Steemian @ecoinstant that allows you to better index your past blogs on Steemit, and what the trending page would look like without posts voted on by bidding bots.

Final Thoughts

Our third session of Talk of the Line was incredibly successful, and I'm already excited for next week. We again had about 20 attendees, and @sblue presented for the first time. It was great to hear from everyone and get their thoughts on current events. You'll also notice there were a lot of laughs. The group dynamic was great, and I know I laughed a lot more than I anticipated. I encourage you to take a listen if you need some background entertainment.
