It seems unreal that I'm almost to 20 episodes of my podcast.

It's been a great experience creating each edition of The STEEM Engine Express. Not familiar with the podcast? Let me take a moment to catch you up.

I'm a member of the leadership team at a Steemit and Discord community called The STEEM Engine. You can find our group at @thesteemengine. We began the group in December of 2017 as an effort to promote engagement among members and support potentially undervalued content created by our members using the group Steemit account.

The group has been largely successful over the past few months at curating great content submitted by our members. Our group account @thesteemengine shares a daily post, which features some of the best posts shared in our Discord server. Back in January, I had the idea to start another curation project, which seeks to highlight more great posts through a podcast. Staying with the train theme, I named the podcast The STEEM Engine Express.

I just shared Episode 19 yesterday, so if you want to take a listen, feel free. One of my favorite parts of creating the podcast was putting together the introduction segment. Today's post is a small update about the podcasts, which I wanted to share because I've received fantastic feedback from the Steemit community, and have been fortunate enough to attract the attention of @prc and the @dsound curation team. The Express has been one of my most successful ventures on Steemit since I began my activity on the platform last June.

Now Available on Your Favorite Podcast Service!

While I've not had as much time to spend on Steemit lately, I am fully dedicated to continuing The Express, so it is the one initiative that I always make time for each week. Therefore, I wanted to make everyone aware that I have archived all of the podcasts on my personal blog, and I've indexed the RSS feed of the podcasts so you can now listen to the Express through any major podcast service.

The approval of the podcast from iTunes came through yesterday, so I'm now listed there, and if you choose to use another podcasting service or app such as AntennaPod or CastBox, you can simply add the podcast by URL! Here's the RSS podcast feed:

I've submitted the podcast to several databases already, but if you have suggestions for other databases I should submit to, please let me know! I'm new to publishing podcasts outside of DSound and Steemit, so I'd love some feedback.

Anyhow, I was pretty excited to open up Castbox on my phone and load in my podcast! It looks so official. If you follow any podcasts, I hope you'll follow The Express. I plan to post the podcasts on Steemit and then immediately push the link out over RSS so that it will show up.

The podcast listening URLs are mp3s that are stored on my personal website, so no need to worry about the issues with IPFS on DSound.
