How Can MiniApps help Small Business ?

Lets first define what constitutes a "Small Business":

The size of a Small Business can vary by Industry, however for this Article I will use the following definition " The definition of a small business is an independently owned and operated company that is limited in size and in revenue depending on the industry. A local bakery that employs 10 people is an example of a small business. A manufacturing facility that employees less than 500 people is an example of a small business."

What is MiniApps ?

In short, MiniApps is a Platform in which a Business can easily create "Chatbots" which can serve the businesses needs as well as offer immediate service and answers to customers through mobile smart devices via messenger services like Skype, Facebook and Viber Etc. It's significantly cheaper and faster for Businesses to use Chatbots by MiniApps then to spend the Capitol and Time needed to develop Traditional Apps. It seems to me that MiniApps is similar in the same way Wix allows any non technical person to create Websites. In the same breath, advanced developers will have sufficient flexibility to create more advanced Chatbots as well and customize to their particular business needs. The additional advantage to using Chatbots by MiniApps is that the end users do not need to download an App. These days many people have become skeptical of Apps and the permissions needed in order to use on your device. User retention for Chatbots are much higher than the people that download Apps and then remove from their device. Customer Service is the top area in which ChatBots will help Businesses in the future. Analytics , Metrics and Downloadable Reports are also available to measure Customer Satisfaction, problems, successes and needs.

So, getting back to the heart of this Article, how can MiniApps help Small Businesses and how will it change the way they do things ?

Lets use one of my favorite food spots as an example. It's a juice / smoothie bar. Sometimes they are very slow and then they get rushes. It makes scheduling employees tough, and you'll either have people standing around or not enough people on shift to handle waiting customers. On top of that, their menu is large with so many variations that people sometime get overwhelmed and don't know what to order (I suggest the Extreme Veggie) !

What if Customers could come into the juice bar an instead of getting in line and having to order right away, they could deal with a Chatbot from the comfort of their table and order at their leisure. They could still request to give specific instructions to the employees prior to making their smoothie if they have any special requests that are not able to be communicated through the ChatBot. While customers are still in the store they can offer feedback on the quality of food and service, enter drawings for prizes and sign up to get specials etc. Chatbots could also request Customers write reviews on Yelp and other similar sites.

Although MiniApps would not be limited to Small Business, I think it could be a game changer for them and equal the playing field a bit when competing against larger Businesses and even other Small Business not ready to adjust to the times and needs of Customers.

One of the main problems Customers have with any business is feeling like their concerns or issues are not being heard. A ChatBot is an instant way to get that Customer the Attention they need and ease frustrations almost immediately. It's another channel the customers and businesses have to communicate.

It's a cost effective alternative to Traditional Apps and Businesses will not have to overcome the objection of Customers not wanting to download an App and grant permissions or give up privacy.

Every Business is looking for ways to reduce expenses but this is even more true for a Small Business. If a Chatbot can handle the additional Customer needs without additional employee costs, then this will help the Small Business achieve higher profits and the ability to reinvest in the Business.

Overall, MiniApps / Chatbots will create more efficiency and streamline many processes within the Small Business Arena as well as reduce Customer complaints and decrease Customer waiting times.

I'll take a chatbot assistant that has a uniquely designed character to my preferences and connected to the internet's mainframe. It comes along with me anywehere and can access the restaurants menu when entering their place. Because my chatbot spends time with me and learns from me without me telling it to save up info about me, it knows my preferences and tells me my first most probable choice available. Kind of like a interactive phone (or hologram in the future) but the interaction goes both ways and is genuine

What a cool time saver that will be. All that ofc only if the system was save
