TECH NEWS #3: Huawei launched Honor 7A-New Midrange phone with face unlock!📱

This is the 3rd blog of my series TECHNEWS. And in this blog I'll share the specifications and my thoughts on a new mid-range phone-Honor 7A.

Recently Huawei launched Honor 7A, which is new midrange phone and they tried something new this time with this phone.
This device comes in two variants-2GB & 3GB RAM. But both have internal storage of 32GB, and also has a dedicated memory slot which is expandible upto 256 GB.
Specifications-
The 3GB variant comes with a dual camera setup 13+2 Mega pixels and the 2GB variant comes with a single 13MP rear shooter. But both the devices have a 8 MP front facing camera.
This phone features an 5.7inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The camera comes with image-blur capacity and AI based features too.
For its power it has a non-removable 3000 mAH battery. And the processor is an octacore,with Snapdragon 430 chipset. The GPU is Adreno 505.
Last but not the least it runs on Android 8.0(Oreo), it's the latest version and the devices have Face Unlock which makes them attractive.
Price Range-
The 2GB RAM variant is around 8,300 INR in India(~128 USD) & the 3GB variant is 10,300 INR (~158 USD).
Now, are they praiseworthy?
Well the 2GB RAM variant is a good and descent device with nice specs although Huawei could have used Snapdragon 450 which is too an old processor but atleast better in perfomance than 430.
And I think the 3GB variant's price is a bit high. It should have been between 9,200-9,500 INR. As only the RAM version is different from the other one. Moreover in 10,300 INR pricerange they should have used atleast Snapdragon 625.
Well they are nice midrange phones, but they could've improved their processors processor. Overall its a descent one.
Moreover in todays world ,where we all people love to click selfies, Huawei could have improved the front camera too. Like a 13 MP front shooter would've make this phone better.
And in India Mi Note 5 at 10k price is the first choice of people .Although the camera is Ok! but the processor is good that comes with a 4000 mAH battery. If 7A had a 600 series processor than for sure it would have been the 1st choice in this budget.
