Pershing Square B&W or Color

The other day I took my tripod into the City with the plan to get some early morning shots before and as the sun was rising, but I didn't take into account how much the temperature had dropped overnight. I walked out of Grand Central planning on going for walk but the cold caught me by surprise so I only got a few shots that morning before deciding to head to the office and to warm up.

Decided to share a couple of shots from that morning one in B&W and one in color, this is just outide Grand Central terminal, Looking at the Pershing Square Arch under Park Ave as it passing into and throuugh Grand Central

This is from almost the same spot, but with a different edit and keeping it in color.

And I thought I would share the Color version of the first shot, using a tripod I could take a exposure of 1.3 Seconds, so you see some ghosting of the vehicles and a little bit of a light trail, not 100% happy with these shots, but I did layer up better the next day and got some other longer exposure shots in the city that I will share at some stage,

I am curious which do you prefer the B&W or color version?

I like the B&W. But I think that is probably driven by my love of old buildings. The B&W seems to match the subject. I grew up in small towns and am always still in awe of beautiful old spaces like Grand Central. All photos are great the long exposure captures the vitality of the city.

I really like the first photo and think it would be beautiful framed. I didn't even notice the truck until I saw the second picture...and had to scroll back up to see if it was in the first photo. My eyes are drawn right to the doors in the first photo. Nice work!
