This was the official farewell dinner for the lovely @yasminep. As I'm penning down this post, she still has a few more days left in Kuala Lumpur before she flies off to London. We'll definitely miss her! It's times like these when you wished you had more time to catch up with whatever left to say which would probably take forever but time has done its thing once again. With what little time we had during this meetup, I managed to 'catch a gimpse' of the awesome @yasminep.

The Last Supper

This farewell was on a Monday night and still many of the Steemians took their time and rushed to this meetup. Braving through the heavy downpour and after work jam, everyone was excited to meet @yasminep. @joannewong & @aaronleang managed to book a table at a nice Thai restaurant that had a variety of thai cuisines on the menu. It was also my first time trying this restaurant though I have walked by on several occasions.

We had a turnup of 13 Steemians! @bitrocker2020, @maverickfoo, @karinzdailygrind, @kevinwong, @coachmelleow, @aaronleang, @joannewong, @crypto3d, @natalielo, @littlenewthings, @elizacheng, @digitalmind, myself and the 'main character' of the night, @yasminep.

@aaronleang and I ordered 4 sets of 6 Thai dishes which includes appetizers to main course.

Yea... I pretty much made most of the names up for the dishes. Haha, kinda added a 'chinese twist' to it. You know how some chinese dishes have some of the most bizarre names, 'Buddha Jumping over the phoenix egg' etc etc. Oh! A shoutout to @kevinwong for paying for dinner!

The Last Last Supper, I promise

There is always time for a wefie in the lift on our way up to New World Hotel Rooftop Sky Lounge and Bar. From @yasminep's recent post about how her friends celebrated with her, I know that @yasminep LOVES to drink and so we couldn't end the night with JUST dinner.

The view from up top was amazing! You could literally see the city towards the far horizon. We spent the night chatting away, got to hear some of the awesome plans @yasminep has in stored back in London. I do really want to wish her well on whatever endeavor she's undertaking and since it's a rooftop 'sky' bar, I wish upon a star that she will succeed as well!

As midnight approaches, we all had to call it a night because we all still have to work the following day. But I just want you to know, @yasminep, that you are ALWAYS WELCOME to the community of #teammalaysia, in fact, you are already part of us.
