Travel To Learn

Almost everyone i know that travel, they are travelling to work. While others travel to get out of their daily routine and call it a holiday. There is one type of travel that is is seldom mention or highlighted, the kind of travel that i do, near or far... and when i am asked, i would say i am travelling to learn.

If you dont know by now, yesterday was TeamMalaysia Gathering. Some told me that it is the 1st Official Gathering, some say it was done before only smaller in number. Whatever it may be, i think it safe to say, its the 1st TeamMalaysia Gathering has a successful has turn out.

Almost everyone i met that went to the gathering has put up a post on the event. So i wont bored you with the same story, but i will share you the link by friends that have made a post about it. i think they deserve your attention as they bring out the colours and spirit of TeamMalaysia. Anyway, i am happy to tell you that my decision to travel to TeamMalaysia Gathering is truly rewarding, as i am the kind that travel to learn, to make that decision to be there at the event was easy, the only issue is, i need to sort out my calendar so nothing clashes.

I've truly learn a lot from everyone i met, and most importantly i am grateful to have the chance to know them personally. Honestly, nothing beats putting faces to the name we see on daily basis. Interestingly, some of the people i met has different persona in comparison to their steemit account, hehe.

Overall, it was an awesome event, an event that you should not miss. There were lots of fun and laughter and some serious discussion and most importantly gathering of insight.

Toward the end of the event, the take out of it all is the opportunity of doing collaboration project . some of the projects that i am looking forward to work on but needed more refining is with the like-minded steemian @djlethalskillz, @vandigital @sireh @maverickfoo on Arts , Music , and Writing Masterclass.

Some of the other interesting discussion with @bitrocker2020 was plans for 2018 and helping teammalaysia to shape up travel events that would bring value to community building. While we were toying with some of the travel event ideas , i am glad to know that few others is already excited to participate. Anyway, what i am also looking forward for is the announcement by @bitrocker2020 of Steemfest Malaysia in September.

Through all the discussion that i was involved in , one of the common things that was agreed on by all of us is the value proposition that Steemit has toward its users. While other major coin like bitcoin and ether is generally use for trading purposes , Steemit takes it to another different level.

it gives an ordinary person a voice in the platform, makes money, a career, and to some ... change of lifestyle toward a digital nomad. All of this is done through sharing of creative content. This only means that a person can possibly be out of the current failing world economic system , while being partly on the grid. In conclusion , steemit is one of the leading crypto that effect and is changing social lifestyle right to the core, right to the everyday ordinary man that is has little or no monetary wealth.

I must also acknowledge that this platform may not be for everyone , but i cant denied that it could an opportunity and option for a change of lifestyle for many out there. Just the idea alone, is mind boggling.

Bottomline, with steemit... you can only gain. how can you be at risk when you did not risk anything to begin with. So, if your in crypto trading , perhaps you might want to look out for coin that has direct impact to social lifestyle.

Coming back to the idea of travel to learn for this Team Malaysia Gathering trip, it has really serve me well this time around. it was indeed a pleasure to learn from so many TeamMalaysia Members yesterday that comes from different background, this experiences really gave me a new perspective in life, insights and confidence in making my next moves.

Perhaps , you would consider this ideals, to travel is to learn, Having this kind of mindset will always put you in an advantage. You become less critical and less frustrated when there is a turn of events in your travel, this is because there is always something to learn in any given circumstances.

The one thing that team malaysia didnt know , while @bitrocker2020 was driving us to Big Hug, he scratch his bumper. ouchhh...i feel you bro.

Anyway, i wish to thank you for the dedication and hard work in building the community and thanks for the ride to and fro KLIA. Ngiu Chap on me next month. hehe..

Why Am I Here

Daniel Doughty loves his community and ideas but hates writing. Steemit is a brilliant platform that would help him express his thoughts and helps him practise his writing, he hopes to get better at it.
