TeamMalaysia 1st 2018 Gathering - Why I feel blessed today?
Woke up at 3:00am and preparing myself to the airport. Looking at my son still tucked with his favorite soft toy, doggie, makes me proud of what I am doing today.
Our trip to KL is not an ordinary trip. It is not business or leisure purpose. It is for our Team Malaysia 1st Gathering. It means that we’re going to meet our Steemit family that we have never seen before! The feelings like when you’ve got separated from birth and this is the first time that you will seeing each other, literally. Haha 😆
I am so excited and yet so nervous thinking how’s the crowd would be. What am I going to say? What am I supposed to do? What happened if suddenly a conversation becomes awkward? Krik,krik,krik…
I tried to brush away the unnecessary thought and let’s just follow the flow.

We went to had some breakfast, chatted and finally hit the road. Soon enough, we reached to the meetup venue, Big Hug owned by our fellow steemian @danielwong. We were the earliest steemians arrived and while waiting, we had more chit chatting (still feels unsettled). Slowly the crowds getting bigger. And without realizing it, the place covered with tons of amazing, talented people.

Surprisingly, I did well...I guess. I hoped I didn’t scared @hanbun, @ellibong and @artsyhooman away 😂
It was fun talking with these talented ladies. All of them are doing the steem-cartoon(check out their profiles to see what they actually do!). Thank you ladies. You guys are amazing. Keep Team Malaysia proud! Malaysia Boleh!

Towards the end, me, @ladylei and @kukuryo had a one to one talk with @zord189 about our struggle finding our niche to write a post. He advice us so many thing but one particularly advise that he told us and I quote “steemit is not supposed to give you stress,it supposed to give you fun”. Thank you for the valuable advise @zord189. I'd really appreciate it.
There are tons of great ideas from these great people. I’ll have to admit, to be in that place of where they are today seems reachable although it’s going to take loooong way to get there. It is possible. When there’s a will, there’s a way. 😁
So,why I’ve feel blessed today?
This is the reason why.

What Is It All About?
Basically, it was a familiarization session with everybody. For me, it is important knowing your team members and gets to know their personalities and build a sense of trust and community within us. Having an idea what motivates them to write gives me an admiration in a powerfully irresistible way.
As John Heywood said, “nothing is impossible to a willing heart”.
So, are you willing to step outside your comfort zone? I’ll let you decide. 😊

Really wanted to go since it's an opportunity to get to know the rest of the family members in Team Malaysia.
I attend a lot of networking events and this is one of the very best. Having said that, you looked like a lady I met in one of the event where she is from Klang and works in a company that makes bakery... Anyway, still amazed that you guys really made a trip to KL for a short event, great thing it was an amazing one:)

Would be a great thing to laugh about if I met you both yesterday haha. Unfortunately, I was quite sick and my son was too, so we stayed home. Would wanna meet another Daniel&Connie someday! :) glad to see you all had a great time! Love looking at the photos!
