Hello mighty readers! Do you like tattoos? Do you have any? Let's share!

Sup, crazy monsters! As some of you already know, I'm not allowed to cycle this week due to 3 stitches on my index finger - don't worry, it's some minor procedure I had to do.

Because of that I can't really do much; typing a lot makes it to throb and operating a camera properly is some type of challenge. Yes, excuses to explain the bad photo quality on this post, Hah ! Don't point me up pa dum tss.

That being said, I thought... what can I do to have fun with this monsters, if I can't really go out on adventure? Well, It was when this wild idea appeared! Let's talk about tattoos.

We all have tattoos nowdays, or at least some of us plan to have one; some of our tattoos have meanings, others were drunk experiences, others no longer have a meaning. They also come in all sorts of colors and formats, detailed, minimalistic.

I want to see them all and discover about you through your body art, show me your tattoos, tell what they represent. This is a simple chain, I won't pick a winner but I'll be more than glad to read about you, that's the idea. Hopefully we'll be able to spread it to the blockchain, let's see how far it goes. I will start.

My Tattoos

Ok, no more further ado, lenga-lenga, lero-lero, hurly-burly, furore, here are my tattoos. I currently have 3 works done on my body, all three of them on my left arm on different places.

Friends

This was my first tattoo way back in 2010, it's still in perfect shape despite the bad quality of my photo.

The whole idea was, and still is, to represent a great friendship I have with two girl friends. Back in the day we wanted to do something together, so our consensus led us to choose the Friends logo, for those who don't know it's an old TV series - fun fact, I have never seen one single episode of the series. But, I still love this two girl friends and we have a ton of fun together.

WindRose

This is the second tattoo I've done, and the one with more details. Also it was the one that took more time to plan and do. The special fact about this tattoo is that most of the art was drew by me and retouched by the artist, so I can say the drawing is mine.

As for the meanings it has many, starting by the fact that I love navigation, both in land and sea.

It has some deep meanings too such as the North, my windrose points forward because it represents MY aim to the North, to look up and keep on going in pursue of my dreams without looking back.

It also represents the certainty that I can be far away from my land, but I'll always know way back home. I coulsd say that it gives me courage to go far away without feeling lost. And so on... this is a really precious tattoo for me.

Only Real When Shared

If you have seen Into the Wild you may have heard this quote with its beginning, where it says Happiness. The motivation for this tattoo came after I saw the movie with a girl friend. I remember us thinking about the movie and trying to understand the complexity involved.

Why did I supress the word Happiness? Because I wanted people to think every time they read that tattoo engraved on my arm. What is only real when shared? What can become real if I share?

This were my tattoos and their meanings. Of course, there are many others I wanted to do but unfortunately money always gets in the way. Plus, I like them to have strong meanings, another reason why I don't have a lot all over my body. Now I want to see the Steemians sharing their work, hands on work girls.
