Tarot Tuesday Twosome #7
My Tarot Tuesday Twosome takes two cards and explains what they suggest about the present and immediate future. Two cards can show point / counter-point situations. They can show a situation and further details to consider. They can indicate the present situation ... and the near future or the next step in the progression.
They give literally twice as much information as the familiar One-Card Reading, and I have found them to be surprisingly prescient in my practice with them. So, I decided to bring them here to my Steemit blog -- to show you what I mean and invite you to consider their weekly message / prediction ... and step into a more conscious life.
6 of Wind = reaching a place of clarity, safety, stability, objectivity; being able to think straight -- again, at last
3 of Water = enjoyment, congenial company, encouragement and support

What are these cards saying?
Sometimes the readings are simple -- and crystal clear. Like this one.
I'll fill out the rest of the post with a little more detail (for those who are interested) -- but basically, if you've got those five words -- Chill out and enjoy yourself -- you can stop reading here.
A forecast of the future
As a one-two sequence,
cause and effect / situation and result,
present situation and next situation
Given the sequence of cards that brought us to this point, you can see a radical change of perspective at work. By simply "giving it a rest" -- calming your mind, looking at things differently, giving up hysteria and worry, you can find a much better place to exist.
It virtually embodies the idea of "Change your mind, change your life." (And sometimes The Movie of Life allows for that much more easily than it does at others. Let this be one of those times.)

The 6 of Wind does suggest a shift in consciousness, a willingness -- or the ability -- to calm down, make clear choices, and see your situation objectively. But the card itself is a little over halfway through the suit, so there's "history" behind the present moment, and it may be extremely welcome.
In traditional decks its meaning is often expressed as sailing into peaceful waters. It shows what looks like a refugee family, sailing in an open boat out of a turbulent sea and heading toward solid land. You can almost feel the fatigue and relief just looking at the picture.
And, FWIW, you need to enjoy the little island of calm in the midst of this suit ... because the higher numbers get pretty unpleasant ... which suggests something both interesting and disturbing about how the mind works. Basically, that it can take a minor catastrophe to get you to think differently ... even a little. And yet -- "change your mind, change your life" -- is totally valid. Or as some teachers explain it -- simple, but not easy.
The 3 of Water in traditional decks suggests a scene of socializing, being surrounded by people who support and encourage you. There's fun, camaraderie, a festive feeling -- an atmosphere that promotes your own self-love and creative expression ... and the idea that life is good and you can feel good about it.
As a forecast sequence, these two cards say -- "Change your mind ... and enjoy life again." Change your mind, take a different perspective, count your blessings -- and you can.
