Tarot Tuesday Twosome #3
My Tarot Tuesday Twosome takes two cards and explains what they suggest about the present and immediate future. Two cards can show point / counter-point situations. They can show a situation and further details to consider. They can indicate the present situation ... and the near future or the next step in the progression.
They give literally twice as much information as the familiar One-Card Reading, and I have found them to be surprisingly prescient in my practice with them. So, I decided to bring them here to my Steemit blog -- to show you what I mean and invite you to consider their weekly message / prediction ... and step into a more conscious life.
6 of Fire Reversed = Restoring yourself; working on something private that may be important, even a personal breakthrough; keeping your activities private & out of sight; doing significant inner work; constructing your own definition of "success" according to your own priorities & values
1 of Fire = redefining yourself & your purpose, understanding yourself better & differently, bringing new projects out of "pure potential" & giving them shape & their own existence in material reality; creating work, producing "things" that are a true reflection of you ... based on your new self-image & strength
A comment on current conditions
What are these cards saying?
(This reading is so self-evident -- especially in light of the one last week -- I'm actually embarrassed to put it out here. But the two of them together are an excellent example of how the Tarot can talk to you ... literally as in a conversation with another person. I used to think it was eerie when this happened. I've now come to expect it.)
You're "getting it together," discovering new levels & dimensions of you -- & preparing to step into them
You're dealing with significant inner work, restoration & healing. When it's done, you will understand yourself differently. You'll have a new self-image & greater self-respect. You'll work with your talent & power on a higher, better level. This inner healing will mark a time of significant change & improvement for you.
You may be working on a private project, or something with a compelling personal message or meaning. It could represent an important turning point when you finally finish. It will lead literally to resurrection, rebirth, a time of engaging the world differently. You will "do stuff" that is a more authentic statement of who you are & that offers a better, more accurate exhibit of your and your talents. You ... will be different, and so will what you accomplish.

You're in (or have recently been through) an important time of inner reflection and healing. You've discovered some personal truths and made some important changes. This will help you a lot in the future. The "next step" of course is to come out of hibernation.
Step into the new, more powerful persona you have created. Experiment with your own strength. Discover new levels of expression for your personal talents. This is an important moment of personal growth. Be aware -- and be part of the process!

The "mess" you've been through lately really did have a purpose. There is always method to the madness of the Universe once you have the perspective to see it ... and a different mindset that can understand. It can take some inner turmoil and searching to reach this point, but the end of the journey is worth it. You see yourself -- and your place in life -- differently. The clarity can be inspiring. It usually is.
This is where you are now. The fog of confusion will continue to lift -- and if it hasn't started that yet, it will. Sooner now, rather than later. You are literally being reborn into someone stronger, wiser, and more genuine. It's a terrific experience, especially if you have the wit to observe ... and work with it consciously.
Side note: To be fair, this combination can also mean you've "failed" at something significant recently and have to start over from Square One. I think that's unlikely, given the lead-up from last week's reading, but I'll mention it anyway.
You may also have abandoned or set aside something you've been working on for a while, because you've come to understand this just isn't you -- so there's no use to keep pursuing it. Either of these scenarios can be part of the "healing work" I've written about above. It doesn't change the overall message at all.
Have a look at your overall situation and see how it applies to you and your life. It will. It's what makes the Tarot so awesome -- and mysterious.

Thank you! I always find that interesting, too -- and I get so many creative ideas on how to work differently when them myself in my wanderings. It's great to have a community that collects a bunch of them together in one place. It gives me more time to read instead of hunt!
