My Sublime Sunday was a rainy one. The plants in the flower garden got a good soaking.

Lily Leaves

The flowering season is slow this year. Normally there would be burgundy lilies blooming up through these leaves.

Columbines With Droplets

Columbines are a great flower for your garden-a hardy perennial that comes in a few different colors. I have purple and white in another bed.

Chives Blossoms

Clives taste and smell like onions.

I like the fragrance in the garden when you pull a stalk. This bumble bee is enjoying them too.

Stonecrop In The Rain

Stonecrop/Sedum is another hardy perennial for your flower garden. It never fails to appear each spring and blooms in early summer.

Pepper & Tomato Plants

The rain today is good for my newly planted tomato and pepper plants.

Luckily I was late in planting them for there was a frost last week.


The rabbit doesn’t mind the rain. He is thinking of eating some of the new growth on the spruce tree.
