(11 pics) Here is another part of this underground passing hallway. It´s not really possible to show you the whole complex only in the pics, you have to go there and stay in front of the paintings. But I can show you some impressions. The previous post was about the walking down way from the east side, this here is is now more or less below the bridge, acutally the underpass. I am trying to sort it by themes, even if not everything is one theme, but these here are just the beautys. Wonderful colorful detailful... just very nice portraits, awesome. There are still some more themes, keep on following. And just imagine them all together. And much more important: Imagine how all that place would look like only in grey and without any color. Everything is changeable, not completly in a sec, but step by step with lovely and smart ideas. (There is as well a heart integrated into the murals, so... comes from the heart )

Yes! It´s difficult to show the whole underground area. It´s not super-huge, but there are some walls. I posted as well Number (1), there will be two more. So actually like 4 themes. And they are all just fantastic. Bevor... it was ugly, grey, depressive. People were afraid to walk throug. Now :-) It´s an awesome art gallery!

Cool work with this realistic portraits and Coca Cola cans... I like especially the monkey despite it's done with different style.
Street art makes places that may seem inhospitable pleasant.

Yes. :-) The Coca Cola can is another little gimmick. I think it´s a contra to the beauty portraits. Like beauty in humanity, and the behavour of wasting and throwing away but it´s a brand. Something like this. Still... I love to drink a cold coke. So a bit diverse, as well with the whole underground. There are now some painting. Yes. It´s not pragmatic, it´s not cheaper, it´s not economical. Nothing of that. But it´s on a different level a total improvement. Coca Cola is not the doing actor, as well not responsible for it. It´s just a drink. But we use the drink, we enjoy it, and we can choose where we throw the can. Wait for the next two ones, there are like 4 themes. And they completely remodeled all that place. I just love that!

sehr schöne bilder. auch wenn photografien meist kaum in der lage sind die wirkung solcher arbeiten (aber auch andere kunstwerke wie zb. gemälde) zu transportieren. gerne würde ich mir die unterführung mal selbst ansehen.
es ist schrecklich, dass so so viele bereiche unserer städte grau sind. schon alleine die ganzen häßlichen lärmschutzwände und brücken aus beton sollten meiner meinung nach legal besprüht werden dürfen. aber anstatt dessen werden tags dann auch noch mit anderen grau tönen übermalt.

genauso seh ich das auch. wer bestimmt denn, was vandalismus ist und was kunst ist? die politik, ein unternehmen, ein mensch, ein verein? ... es ist immer subjektiv. also kann ich genauso aus meinem gemüt heraus sagen, dass es für mich der absolute vandalismus ist und es mir jeden tag in den augen weh tut, wenn ich täglich dieses dämliche riesige commerzbank plakat in unserer straße sehen muss. das ist ja ok... aha... wer bestimmt das? weil es bezahlt wurde? dann ist es kunst und dann ist es erlaubt? was für ein blödsinn. wer lebt in der stadt? die menschen. also geht es doch darum, wie die menschen empfinden und was sie als gut oder schlecht in ihrer straße ansehen. ich find es toll, dass so viele aktive leute unterwegs sind und es einfach verdammt noch mal machen, alles vollmalen. aber ich find es auch genauso bemerkenswert und wichtig, dass die, die dann schon etwas etablierter darin sind, sich der stadt stellen und wirklich sinnvolle vorschläge vorbringen, diskutieren und erklären, warum das denn jetzt so besser wäre. und dann entstehen solche tollen plätze wie diese hier. und dann sehen es mehr menschen. und die reden darüber, dass das toll ist. und andere kommen zufällig vorbei und sagen, wow, das ist ja der hammer. wieso sieht das denn nicht bei uns so aus. und dann sagt die eine omi und der student und nochmal 10 leute, die fragen dann den bürgermeister von irgendwo: Wieso ist denn diese Unterführung bei uns so dämlich grau, mir wird immer schlecht, wenn ich da durch lauf. Können wir nicht die Künstler aus unserem Dorf damit beauftragen, dass sie dies oder das bemalen? ..... Ja.. Künstler an die Macht ;-) Hier ist noch ein Link zu einem sehr tollen Brücke-Bemal-Projekt von Graffiti Leuten aus Frankfurt und Kindern. Nennt sich "Bunte Brücke". Die Kinder verstehen das alles einfach am besten, was heißt, wir alle, also jeder Mensch hat das irgendwann mal ganz einfach verstanden. Das hier gefällt dir bestimmt auch: http://buntebruecke.de/
