Fate favored

Looking back at the past years, I see work, my beloved, the truth; family, friends, the kitchen - I like cooking, cooking ... Ordinary life. But there were some events, meetings, holidays, which are very important for you, you appreciate them, and life no longer seems routine, flashes, sparkles, and you say to yourself: fate favored me.

When I studied at the teacher's college, I was engaged in a circle where we studied oral folk art, our dean Yakov Romanovich Koshelev led them. We were given topics of reports, I chose the one whose content should be the analysis of folk songs for comparison. For example, you are asterisk, my clear, dawn early, my falcon clear - about your loved ones.

The work has a scientific name, but I do not remember now. To prepare the report, I needed old books, and Yakov Romanovich, first, gave me a free schedule, and secondly, I arranged for a university scientific library. She made a great impression on me. An ancient building, beauty, stucco molding, ancient books ... Students work quietly - would not leave at all.

Once there were no places in the student hall, I was allowed to study in the teaching room. Reverently I looked around the hall - what kind of people are around! Is it possible that now, when everything is on the Internet, do students stop reading books? Yes, I wrote the report, and at the city competition of student works I got a prize of 20 rubles. In 1970, I was not lucky.

After graduating from the Pedagogical Institute, I was sent to work at the Kolpashevo Pedagogical School. And suddenly the announcement: in the city house of culture the concert of actors of the Bolshoi theater will take place.

Such an event could not be missed, there would never be another opportunity to hear their voices. I somehow bought the ticket and got a real pleasure from the concert. Yuri Gulyaev, Maria Bieshu and other soloists sang. Once I was lucky to go on vacation in the suburbs, in Zvenigorod. It was interesting to see these places. I met one lady. She is dark-skinned.

She came from Czechoslovakia, the international Union of Students was based there. The lady was the wife of one of the functionaries of the Union. She had children with her - four girls. I made friends with them, we took a picture.

The lady of the Russian language did not know, she had an interpreter. Now, of course, the girls became adults. But that is not all. It was the year when Leonardo da Vinci's "La Gioconda" was brought to Moscow. It was shown in the Pushkin Museum.

We went to Moscow specially. There was a terrible queue, she moved quietly, it was impossible to stop. Elusive, with a single eye, the smile of the Mona Lisa still stands before our eyes. A few years later, when my son grew up and left to serve in the Army, in Chita, he was training. I went there. I saw only on the day off 2-3 hours, the rest of the time the son ran out the gate at lunch time for five minutes.

The time was right, and I went to the museum of the Decembrists. They lived in this city, they died. How many wounds their wives accepted! The fighters for political freedom did not see freedom. I rested somehow in Palanga - Lithuania. Looked. how other people live. In beauty, purity, mutual respect, they themselves live and give to others.

Here I lived in a recreation center for journalists and artists. One woman from our room, by the way, an art critic, told me so interestingly about the restoration that I then read a lot of books about the artists, the work of restorers. Approximately 40 years ago, my younger sister and brother went to Uzbekistan. Never been there, everything is new.

Returned by taxi to the airport. They hoped for each other, forgot some of the things in the car. We sit. We are waiting for the plane. Suddenly a taxi driver comes - he brought us things. Such an honest man.
