New Security Site Photos ๐ฎ The End Is Near ! All original content and photos ๐ท Just Taken Tonight !
๐ฎ WALK WITH ME , AS I GO ON PATROL ! ๐ฎ I started doing security at this site in January 2016 and I have been here a year now ! which is going to be a state of the art Specialized Elderly Care Facility here in Kelowna ! It's actually 4 buildings joined , to seem like one ! And there's 3 stories in 2 buildings and 2 stories in 1 building ! The middle entry way and 2nd and 3rd floors middle is also a 4th building joining them all together ! This project was supposed to be done on Dec.6 2016 but as usual it's behind schedule ! I'm thinking we will be done within a month as they are doing finishing touches and installing all the mag locks and security cameras now !
๐ฅ So as it is , our hours have been cut back , and we have no new contracts yet ! So I'm hopeing some of our other sites need us longer or something new comes up , when this job ends ! ๐ฎ

๐ฅ THESE 2 ARE THE MIDDLE BUILDING AREA , AND MAIN ENTRANCE :
๐ฅ One of the larger rooms , all look the same , most are smaller ! All have their own washrooms , same furniture ! :
๐ฅ This equipment for moving people around that can't walk etc. Just came in and is very expensive stuff all state of the art , the tub massages , showers , and moves up and down to easily get someone in and out for bathing ! does everything lol ! ๐
And all the halls look the same ! And there's a very nice commercial kitchen ! :

No sign of snow here. Although enjoying a cooler less humid night. It has been dry but humid and hot for a month ( 25c overnight 29-34c max) . Finally some rain and a bit cooler night to make sleeping more comfortable it's only 22c tonight. . Got to love summer in Australia.
Haha ! Your right it's summer time there ! We had some family visit us on my boyfriend's side from Australia a couple of years ago ! The time change was really hard on the kids ! Lol but they said it's so hot in like Feburary and March even that it would better to visit them after that as we are not used to that kind of humid heat ! Hope you guys have air conditioning ! Lol ! STEEM ON ! ๐๐๐
Unfortunately my aircon died when a gecko ๐ฆ decided to make itself an electric conductor. Buzzz Zap Sizzle ... don't have a spare $1200 for a replacement so will just have to deal with the heat.

Those photos look very familiar. I used to do a lot of finish carpentry in new hospitals, clinics, and other commercial buildings. I was often working at the jobsite until the very end, when the new owners were moving in.
Yes ! I will be here untill they( the owners ) do move in ! The building we finished the year before downtown , even after the job was done the owners kept us on untill everyone got moved in and all the systems were working with no problems ! So I'm hopeing that will be the case here ! It would be a nice seperate contract (private ) for my boss and it will give me more work at least untill another contract comes up in the spring ! Thanks for your reply ! And yes it is a type of hospital only for the rich ! Every area has a nursing station ! It's where I'm blogging from lol ! Till 630 am ! Steem on !๐๐๐ฎ

Only at this time of year ! Lol ! But the summers are very hot with not much rain usually and it's going to be colder this week -18 ! It was - 22 a little while ago ! It's only nice when it snows haha but it's clear now this week ! Thanks for the reply ! ๐๐๐จ๐ฆ
That's a nice looking facility. When it's that cold, there shouldn't be much risk of intruders, lol. Keep those long johns handy! It's headed to 10F (-12 C) here tonight in Oregon's Willamette valley.
haha ! your right only an idiot ( which most are ,or very desperate lol ! ) would be out at 2 or 3 am ! haha ! and yes all week its very clear and cold ! its currently -22 at 145am! lol im staying inside at one of the nurseing stations! theres actually 4 in here its pretty big! and im always wearing long johns and turtlenecks ! you stay warm as well ! and thanks for the great reply ! steem on !๐๐

It looks quite nice. How do you cope with the temperatures?
I wear long johns and warm winter boots ! Lol ! I try to stay inside as much as possible haha ! I'm lucky my car has a fob on my key chain, so from my balcony in my apartment I just push a button to start and warm up my car 10 min. Before I leave for work ! Haha then I just need to clear all the snow away ! I'm already tired about it and can't wait for spring ! ! Thanks for replying ! ๐๐๐๐ฎ
Lol - that's a good policy. The English way to do such things is to just wear whatever you normally wear and just hope for the best!

I also love architecture so I appreciate things like these that you have shown in the picture. Just be careful with your work especially with the snow. I can't imagine myself living there under minus 16 degrees. I can't stand freezing cold.
Lol! When I left for home this morning it was - 21 ! I started my car at 615 am and when I went to it at 630 am it was still cold hahah ! I had the scrape off the back window to see out !
