Israeli Researchers Find 80 Percent of Children with Autism Saw Improvement After High Doses of CBD
Israel has been a pioneer in cannabis research and one study that they've done, that was published in the journal Neurology details how CBD has been seen to be beneficial when given to children with autism.
Researchers found that roughly 80 percent of autistic children were able to see improvement after taking high doses of CBD.
The researchers used a mix of 20 percent CBD and 1 percent THC for several months. After the treatment, the parents completed self-reports on the conditions of their children and reported on whether or not they saw a change.
More than 60 percent of parents reported that the child improved significantly.
Parents with children who struggle with autism have previously admitted that they see cannabis therapy to be heaven sent, when there was literally nothing else that was working to bring their child help and comfort.
Despite the reality that it has helped so many families to seek comfort, the government still deems it a dangerous substance though, worthy of sending people to prison over and ticketing people over. Their anti-cannabis stance demonstrates that they don't have a problem with leaving children and other individuals to suffer in pain, left with only 'legal' alternatives that don't suffice.
