El Ojo
La primera visión de la Tierra, que tuvo la flota exploradora, fue la del Ojo, un gigantesco cráter de unos dos mil kilómetros de diámetro que parecía un anillo de montañas con un gran pico en medio, en las proximidades del polo norte, la única prueba que aun perduraba del primer encuentro de los humanos con su posible extinción.
La imagen de aquella gigantesca cicatriz, claramente definida en medio del océano ártico y su nuevamente eterno casquete de hielo, estremeció a los descendientes de Perseo, de sólo pensar lo cerca que estuvo la vida de desaparecer por completo del planeta, lo cerca que estuvieron ellos de nunca haber estado aquí.
Sabían de su existencia, por las imágenes del planeta que habían visto en los registros recuperados de Titán y Europa, pero no era lo mismo verlo directamente que hacerlo en una simple imagen, no se trataba realmente de algo nuevo para ellos, planetas, satélites y asteroides con cicatrices similares y aún mayores, había por toda la galaxia, en el propio sistema solar Marte tenía un cráter visible aún más grande y la propia Luna terrestre tenía muestras de haber recibido impactos perores, pero a diferencia de cualquiera de los mundos con impactos gigantes que habían visto, la Tierra estaba habitada, por sus antepasados, cuando esto paso. Tal pensamiento creaba una extraña sensación de desasosiego en casi todos los que vieron personalmente esta imagen.
El Ojo fue el nombre que dieron los antiguos terrestres a este gigantesco anillo, cuando, después de poco más de mil años del impacto, pudieron reanudar los viajes espaciales, viajes que después les permitieron a sus descendientes propagarse por la galaxia. Un gigantesco ojo ciclópeo que los miraba desde la superficie de su propio planeta.
La Tierra y los humanos habían pasado por dos gigantescos eventos de extinción, en un periodo de dos mil años y como se darían cuenta pronto, los descendientes de Perseo, no sólo los humanos sobrevivieron a ambos. A su llegada al sistema solar, de inmediato pudieron detectar indescifrables emisiones radioeléctricas provenientes de la Tierra, en un principio supusieron que se trataría de algún dispositivo dejado por los antiguos humanos, alguna especie de radiofaro, tal vez averiado y emitiendo extrañas y misteriosas señales, pero al estar cerca de la Tierra se llevaron la sorpresa de que, el mundo que vio nacer su especie y el cual esperaban que estuviera completamente deshabitado y muerto, albergaba a una extraña civilización que nunca esperaron encontrar ahí.

The Eye
The first vision of the Earth that the explorer fleet had was that of the Eye, a gigantic crater about two thousand kilometers in diameter that looked like a ring of mountains with a large peak in the middle, near the North Pole, the only proof that still lasted from the first encounter of humans with its possible extinction.
The image of that gigantic scar, clearly defined in the middle of the Arctic Ocean and its once again eternal ice cap, shook Perseus' descendants, just thinking how close life was to disappearing completely from the planet, how close they were to never having been here.
They knew of its existence, from the images of the planet they had seen in the recovered records of Titan and Europe, but it was not the same to see it directly as to do it in a simple image, it was not really something new to them, planets, satellites and asteroids with similar and even bigger scars, there was all over the galaxy, in the solar system itself Mars had an even larger visible crater and the Earth's own Moon was shown to have received perorous impacts, but unlike any of the worlds with giant impacts they had seen, the Earth was inhabited, by their ancestors, when this happened. Such a thought created a strange sense of unease in almost everyone who personally saw this image.
The Eye was the name given by the ancient terrestrials to this gigantic ring, when, after a little more than a thousand years of impact, they were able to resume space travel, trips that later allowed their descendants to spread throughout the galaxy. A gigantic cyclopean eye that looked at them from the surface of their own planet.
Earth and humans had gone through two gigantic extinction events, in a period of two thousand years and as they would soon realize, Perseus' descendants, not only humans survived both. When they arrived at the solar system, they could immediately detect undecipherable radioelectric emissions coming from the Earth, at first they supposed that it would be some device left by the ancient humans, some kind of radio beacon, perhaps broken down and emitting strange and mysterious signals, but being close to the Earth they were surprised that the world that saw the birth of their species and which they expected to be completely uninhabited and dead, harbored a strange civilization that they never expected to find there.
