Should George Soros be tried for War Crimes?

An inflammatory headline but with sufficient links to join the dots.

This investigation starts in New York where Soros and a PR firm named Purpose Inc., a pro-war firm that argues for Western intervention against Assad. The co-founder and CEO of Purpose is Jeremy Heimans, who also helped found Avaaz, a “pro-democracy” group connected to Soros’ Open Society Foundation. Avaaz is run by Tom Perriello.

Tom Perriello’s ideologies espouse the Machiavellian principle in which “the end justifies the means.” In essence, unethical, morally reprehensible, criminal and contemptuous behaviour is justified in order to, in Perriello’s words, “expand the use of force to advance key values.” Of course, the values Perriello speaks of are American “values.” Perriello’s belief that such noble key “values” are at the foundation of today’s America demonstrates even further delusion.

Purpose's website describes the goal:
“Purpose builds and accelerates movements to tackle the world’s biggest problems.”

Toward that end, Purpose created “The Syria Campaign”. The Syria Campaign was founded by Purpose Inc., an international PR Firm, aided by the foundation of Ayman Asfari, a billionaire who made his money in the oil and gas services industry.

Anna Nolan, an Irish TV celebrity and former nun, manages the Syria Campaign. It promotes a social media campaign called ‘Planet Syria’ pushing for foreign intervention and war. It also promotes the White Helmets.

White Helmets was founded in May 2013 by James Le Mesurier, a former British army officer . White Helmets, we are told, is a wonderful, unbiased humanitarian organisation which cares for those injured in the Syrian conflict.

The organisation is funded by governments including the USA, the UK, Germany, Netherlands and France,, according to Abdulrahman Al Mawwas, the chief liaison officer.

It has become increasingly obvious that the White Helmets is an extremely partisan organisation with an agenda (Al-Qaida) and is providing the Mainstream Media with stories to fit with the Purpose Inc. objectives.

Independent journalist Rick Sterling called the White Helmets “highly effective manipulators”:
“White Helmets primary function is propaganda. White Helmets demonizes the Assad government and encourages direct foreign intervention.”

The group focuses its efforts only on areas held by al-Qaida and Jabhat al-Nusra, Syria’s al-Qaida affiliate also known as the Nusra Front. They ignore atrocities carried out by these groups, which are propped up by Western aid and weapons, while creating media-friendly images of victims of Assad’s bombing of rebel-held areas.

So, how does Soros still fit in? There is a history to this!

According to Tyler Durden, writing in Zero Hedge:
“Soros also uses his Open Society Foundations to funnel money to the progressive media outlet, Media Matters.”
Media Matters is a media supplier to the likes of Al Jazeera.
The war that ripped through the Ukrainian region of Donbass resulted in the deaths of over 10,000 people and the displacement of over 1.4 million people. As collateral damage, a Malaysia Airlines passenger jet was shot down, killing all 298 on board.
In a May 2014 interview with CNN, Soros stated he was responsible for establishing a foundation in the Ukraine that ultimately led to the overthrow of the country’s elected leader and the installation of a junta handpicked by the US State Department, at the time headed by none other than Hillary Clinton.
Soros was there to profit from the chaos he helped create. His prize in Ukraine was the state-owned energy monopoly Naftogaz.
In the 1990s, Soros began a string of large bets against national currencies. The first was in 1992, when he sold short the pound sterling and made a $1 billion profit in a single day.
His next big currency speculation came in 1997. This time Soros singled out the Thai baht and, with heavy short-selling volume, destroyed the baht’s artificial peg to the US dollar, which started the Asian financial crisis.

“Humanitarian” Efforts

Today, Soros’s net worth stands at $23 billion. Since taking a back seat in his company, Soros Fund Management, Soros has been focusing on his philanthropic efforts, which he carries out through the Open Society Foundations he founded in 1993.
